New TSA Rules: Passengers Must 'Freeze on Command'?
Gather.com ^ | July 7, 2012 | Jim Kane

According to possible new TSA rules, air travelers may be compelled to "freeze" when ordered to by screeners.

The federal safety agency has yet to comment on this policy, but an airline passenger claimed agents recently practiced a drill on his wife.

"We heard a "freeze, freeze" or something like this coming from the output side of security (where my wife was), followed by further barking of commands," the man said.

"It turns out they were doing a new drill. They want all passengers to freeze on command. My wife told me later that she didn't follow this order fast enough, so the subsequent barks I heard were directed at her," he added.

Now, this anecdote has not been confirmed by the safety agency, so it should remain in the rumor zone at this point. But, considering all the crazy TSA rules, would anyone be surprised if it were true?

Could you have imagined, a decade ago, that you would be forced to submit to naked imaging just to get on an airplane? Or that young children would be groped by strangers in uniforms?

There is no compelling evidence these absurd TSA rules do anything to thwart terrorism. Just recently, the agency announced that screeners now have the right to test beverages purchased by travelers, even after the people have gone through security. How much more of this can people take?

Someday, the TSA will be on every street corner and the entrances to every building.

You guys must have seen the video of the cops tazing and beating that poor guy who was in diabetic shock and refused to follow their orders after he was pulled over for driving erratically.

I can not believe the excuses dimwitted Americans make for these TSA goons.

I’ve said it before. JUST STOP FLYING! Two weeks to a month of people not fly would place all the airlines on the verge of bankruptcy. Even this administration is not foolish enough to stand by and watch that happen. The repercussions would be enormous!

Until you this happens your wives, mothers, daughters, grandmothers and children will continue to be groped and molested in front of you while you wait for your turn to be degraded and humiliated as if an male who thinks of himself as a real man hasn’t already surrender his manhood by standing by and allowing his female relations or for that matter any female to undergo such treatment.

So STOP your whining or except it:

Rape is like bad weather: if it’s inevitable, you might as well relax and enjoy it.
Clayton Williams

OR choose to do something about and STOP flying!

Next, travelers will be expected to fetch, roll over, and shake hands upon command

I’ve heard too many people, even “conservatives” repeat the mantra, “Whatever it takes” (to stay “safe”) and go through X-rays, pat downs, all robot-like. I can’t stand it, I only travel for necessity now, never pleasure.

“I remember a news article a couple of months ago about HSA buying 450 million rounds of .40 S&W.”

I read after that, here in FR, the House refused them the money for the purchase.

No. I did not keep the article.

Boycott flying until this madness stops

Easier said than done for those who travel on business and don't have access to private jets.

It would take at 90% of that ammo just to get them qualified at the range.

Some guy at a Cosco got dead a few years back in that very scenario. Cops blasted him but good.

still think there needs to be Burka rental kiosks at the airports. they are the only ones who get a pass...just rent one and turn it in at the next airport..A patriotic sort could start the business and give the profits to FREE REPUBLIC!

Supposedly that was a contract for “up to 450 million” .40 caliber rounds, Hollow Points. It wasn’t that they WOULD buy that many, just wanted a somewhat open ended contract. Some explained it away with the reasoning that TSA was also buying ammo for other agencies to use for training purposes. You know, one might almost believe that except for the fact they are buying HOLLOW POINT ammunition. Who in the HE** practices with HP ammo? The military can’t use HP ammo on enemy combatants, but TSA buys it to use on who? American citizens?? What a crock!!

And people continue to pay these b—stards and the airlines who tolerate this treatment of their clientele for the almighty buck by flying. I can understand it for those whose jobs require flying, but for the others? Just amazing that you put up with this crap. I got enough by October 2000 and it’ll never happen again. Got too much pride.

They see citizens as the threat. This very same thing is going on with our police forces across the nation.

Surveillance of the population with webs of cameras, unmanned drones, backscatter vans, checkpoints and so forth.

TSA being expanded to bus stations, along highways.

EPA, DHS, TSA, IRS....all the alphabets being used against American citizens.

This is mad! Are we a free people or are we slaves to our government?

These are elected servants of the people or appointees of elected officials. So why are they lording over us?

Somethings gonna break if this keeps happening.

TSA bitch at LAX told me she’d have me arrested if I didn’t stop crying. (My dad had died one hour before and I was on my way home to NY State to say “goodbye” — too late.)
