Another light weight.
Maybe if it was Natalie Portman I could get excited.
Bob McDonnell
Portman, although solid, has the “Bush crony” bulls-eye on him; that's why I go with McDonnell.
He needs someone to add personality and a common touch. If he picks this guy he loses.
If the Republicans do not choose Allen West for VP,
instead choose another slice of white bread, 0bama will win. This election seems to be headed in the same direction a 2008.

West has the most desirable qualities of anyone mittens might pick. That is the reason mitt will not ask him.
Martinez of NM would be a slam dunk!
She is:
1. Pro-life
2. Former US-Atty
3. Pro-gun
4. Pro-limited Govt
5. Anti-ACA
6. Pro-Market
7. Tea Party favorite in 2010
8. Hispanic Natural Born
9. Anti-Dream Act
10. Woman
11. Governor in a swing state
If that is true then prepare for the world-wide Caliphate.
Sorry, we need her to repair the damage of Bill Richardson.
Good call!!
Great points all. But there’s a better chance of eating Swiss cheese extracted from the Moon’s core than Glove picking a woman for VP. Ain’t happening, IMO. The quote from Mrs. Glove last week was a classic misdirection move.
After the freak show that’s been going on for 3+ years, a return to boring, white Wonder Bread will be welcome.
Thank you, Lord Vader.
Na...it will Tim Pawlenty.
I’d prefer Marco Rubio, as that is better political calculus.
Florida, Hispanics, Youth, Tea Party, articulate, & capable.
Thinks better on his feet than all other potential nominees, except Paul Ryan, who needs to stay where he is, to lead the congress with his work product.
No one in Ohio knows Portman. He will not deliver Ohio into the GOP column. He only won his Senate seat in 2010 because his Dem opponent was terribly weak even in his own party.
Portman was Bush’s trade rep. Pure GOPe. He was a non-descript member of Congress from an obscure district
“Maybe if it was Natalie Portman I could get excited.”
Maybe?????
Sorry for you Bro!
RE: Martinez of NM would be a slam dunk!
Yes, but how’s her foreign policy? Can she go toe to toe against Biden in this area?
“If that is true then prepare for the world-wide Caliphate. “
Agreed. West seems to be the ONLY GOPer who recognizes the danger to this country.
