How about some links to the NC or FL statutes or criminal code articles dealing with “precipitating a confrontation” in these cases? I mean, you *have* actually looked this stuff up, so the info should be close at hand... right?
§ 14-51.4. Justification for defensive force not available.
The justification described in G.S. 14-51.2 and G.S. 14-51.3 is not available to a person
who used defensive force and who:
