Mitt said he would not select a pro-choice running mate.
Condi has clearly stated she is pro-choice.
But that is only one of her many RINO/Liberal/Socialist positions that disqualify her.
Not to mention the fact that she is just another overcredentialed but incompetent academician.
In fact, it is surprising there isn’t talk about Obama booting Biden and bringing Condi in as his VP.
She would be a perfect fit on the democrat ticket.
No, she didn’t really clearly state that she is pro-choice. She said that she is against abortion, but doesn’t want to see the law changed. That’s not clear at all.
My objections to Condi is that she wasn’t loyal and created some real problems for Bush on some issues, where she was flat out wrong.
I actually am kind of ambivalent about Rice as VP, though. I’m not sure that the VP has much influence on foreign policy or any other policy for that matter and if she could actually bring in voters by giving speeches like the one she gave this past month, maybe she wouldn’t be such a bad choice.
Well, I wouldn't go that far, but your point is well taken. And the bottom line is.. she is truly a bad choice. Like I said, though... it's a feint.
Not wanting to see Roe v. Wade overturned isn't a clear statement in favor of legally continuing pro-choice policies?
I don't think there is any yardstick providing a more clear-cut, black and white distinction of abortion sentiment than support or opposition to Roe v. Wade.
And Condi supports it.
