Orthodox rabbis from across Europe urged Jews in Germany Thursday to continue circumcising baby boys, at an "emergency" meeting called over a court ruling branding the religious rite a criminal act.
"We call on the Jewish community and on parents to continuing practising brit milah (the Jewish circumcision ritual) and not to wait for a change to the judicial ruling," Pinchas Goldschmidt, president of the Conference of European Rabbis, told a meeting in Berlin of around 40 Orthodox Jewish clerics.
Goldschmidt said circumcision of boys on the eighth day after birth was a crucial tenet of Jewish law and that Jews were obliged to respect it.

I don’t see why German Jews just don’t take their kids to Israel to have this done if they want to do it so bad. But Germany has a right to set their own laws and if anyone doesn’t like them then they need to get involved in politics to change or repeal the law. Just like we’re having to do with gun control and Obamacare.

They did. Hate to say it, but the Holocaust and all of the atrocities leading up to it were perfectly legal. The Germans dotted their i’s and crossed their t’s and left the Allies a fantastic paper trail so we could hang a bunch of them after the war.
They had very right in the world to pass their laws and we had every right in the world to reduce their cities to ash and rubble.
This issue is a far different matter and it is an issue of a secular state saying that religious reasons are not valid for performing medically needless surgeries on infants. So while they’re banning circumcision for the Jews, they’ve also banned it for the Muslims who do it, too. And they’ve also criminalized the evil things the Muslims do to littel girls and, in that, they’re ahead of the USA.
Yeah, look how that’s working out. I’m sure it would be so much more effective somewhere else.

You equate “the evil things Muslims do to little girls” with circumcision. Google “sophistry”. After you finish that pitcher of KoolAid, that is.
It’s “anti-semitic” in that no religion—neither Judaism nor Islam—can use religion as an excuse to circumcise minor males. Minors may be circumcised for medical purposes only (not potential preventative reasons, like lessening the possibility of getting penile cancer, but current medical reasons such as severe infection, etc).
As for the sodomites, while they may dig having their genitals intact, almost all heterosexual European men are as God made them. If a religion demands that God requires the slicing away of genitals to prove the believers’ faith, then this can be achieved in a more accommodating environment, or waiting until the believer is of legal age to make his own choice.
Germany, is not the US, and has a right to create its own laws, as does any sovereign nation. However, this is hypocritical in light of the fact that it’s perfectly legal to murder pre-born infants. That is the true evil of this law: that it focuses solely on a “minor” mutilation, but ignores the greatest mutilation of all.
Hmm,,, maybe because not every family has money laying around to just fly to Israel to get it done, and because not every women and child should be traveling a week after delivery?
And no, the Germans really should butt out on a long established rite of the Jewish faith. Of all nations, they should STFU on their opinions of how Jews should behave. And we see endless German accomodation for Muslim crap.

And you see, Jews are a tiny minority on Germany. You might not have heard, but they had this big crazy thingy happen there,,, in the 1940s i think.
Review Ann Barnhards graphic video of Muslim female circumcision and tell us it bears the slightest resemblance to circumcising males. Lunacy to draw any equivalence there.
And Germans have lost ANY right to regulate trivial practices which the jews hold important to their covenant with God.
Circumcision of males is widespread in Islam also. The Bible tells how Abraham circumcised his son Ishmael, the father of the Arab nation.
