Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr.’s mother, Jacqueline Jackson, told a Rainbow/PUSH conference Friday that her son has suffered years of “enormous disappointment.”

“I’m not ashamed to say ... he thought he was going to be a senator. He thought he was going to have a chance to run for mayor. And young people don’t bounce back from disappointments like me and my husband" she said. . . .

Ah! I see.. the family con game was not enough for him...
His daddy conned his way to top of the race con game..
Could be some whites are not falling for the guilt trip anymore..

He’s lucky him and his family are not prosecuted for “bunko”..
Jesse is no more a “reverend” then the most virulent atheist..

This guy has essentially had everything handed to me because of the race baiting tactics of his father. Now he wants sympathy because he wasn’t given more? Pathetic.

And let us not forget Blago. I suspect JJ Jr is in the FBI files on that one. He should be happy he hasn’t been indicted yet.

Yeah, the nepotism only got him to the level of congressman. He thought the nepotism was going to get him to the level of senator or mayor. Poor baby. Perhaps he should live among those of us who advance (or not) according to merit rather than who we’re related to.

And young people don’t bounce back from disappointments like me and my husband

Young people? This grifter is 46 years old, not old but not young either. He's old enough to be mature enough to handle lifes up's and down's. He's been a US Representive since 1995 at an average salary of $170,000 per year, not including the perks and bribes that are not reported every year.

His wife Sandi has been on the Chicago City Council since 2007 at an average salary of $110,00 per year, not including perks and bribes.

So - a combined household income of about $280,000 per year (not including perks and bribes) all paid for with taxpayer dollars and - this guy isnt mature enough to bounce back from disappointments? Well then - I say you're not mature enough to serve the citizens of Chicago and, the United States and therefore should resign.

Call me, speechless...well, nearly.

Classic case here of Mommy-give-boy-baby-teaty.

Utterly dispicable thinking here.

I'm sure Jesse Sr. was a disappointment to him. Most children don't want to admit their father is a shakedown grifter.

“My son, is unwell, and he needs a moment to heal. And I ask you to pray for me without cease. Do for me what I’ve done for you. I want you to respect that. Give us a moment. Most of all for him.”

I don’t know if this was quoted out of context in the article or not, but what in the hell is this woman babbling about? Pray for her “without cease”... indeed.

When I read that Jesse Jackson, Jr. has had years and years of disappointment, I feel oddly pleased; although the agenda marches on at break-neck speed and he should be happy.

Jesse Jackson Jr has affirmative action psychosis. Something all minority children have to look forward to if it’s up to liberals.

You forgot to mention he owns a Budweiser distributorship.

years ago J.J. went on a rant about the lack of black representation in corporate America. One of Push’s targets was Budweiser. Buckling to pressure Bud granted the distribution rights in Chicgoland to J.J.J.
