Also released is the statement of "Witness 9," a woman who says Zimmerman is prejudiced against blacks and that he molested her when she was a child.

The prosecuter may have come to the conclusion that they will lose the case. Consequently they are trying to get the charges dropped in a way that will make it look like “the guilty guy got off scott free only because of loopholes” or something like that. Loopholes isn’t the right word, I can’t think of the right one.

Why on earth would she be releasing evidence and rumor like this? It looks like she's trying to influence potential jurors, and that should get her in big trouble. Maybe that's what she wants, to be relieved.
