Democrats reupped their main point of attack against Mitt Romney today, suggesting once again that the Republican candidate might have committed a felony as the GOP camp refused to play ball.
Last week, Romney demanded in five interviews with the main TV networks that President Obama apologize for his campaign's implication that Romney broke the law by misstating his role at Bain Capital on documents filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Obama said he would not be apologizing.
The chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, revived the accusation on MSNBC today. Democrats have been helped by a Boston Globe report that said Romney was listed as the head of Bain Capital for three years after he had said he left, in 1999. Romney's maintaining that he had left Bain that year let him escape blame for the outsourcing of jobs that happened at Bain-backed companies after 1999.
"Either Mitt Romney was lying on SEC forms and misrepresenting to his investors — which could be a felony — that he was the sole owner, president, CEO of Bain Capital from 1999 until almost the end of 2001, or he wasn't and represented that he was," Wasserman Schultz said. "It can't be both. And so if he was sole owner, president, CEO, then he is to be held accountable for the decisions that were made for the outsourcing of jobs that took place during that time."
Romney's campaign has dismissed the felony suggestion as absurd after the Obama campaign official Stephanie Cutter tried it out last week. Romney's spokespeople had nothing new to say about Wasserman Schultz's remark. Even the liberal writers on the New York Times editorial board said that Cutter "did go too far, perhaps, in suggesting Mr. Romney may have legal problems over this issue."

Obama is a definite felon. He caused a forged Birth Certificate to circulate on the internet , to handle the
fact that he is unqualified to be president pursuant to Article II of the constitution. Sherrif Joseph Arapaio now has the proof, it seems.
The Dems need to be painted with the same brush they are trying to use against Romney.
Besides, saying that Romney is a felon is racist!

Why was Romney who filled out papers which dissolved him from Bain in early 1999, still signing company documents for the company in 2001?
(Outsourcing is a red herring, there is no negative impact on jobs in the US because of out-souring)
Well we know Obama was a felon since he was a user with a cocaine habit. And being poor we can assume he committed numerous felonies by pedaling coke to youngsters to support his habit.
I mean this is easy stuff, Obama is an admitted felon.

Schultz has jumped the shark. These conspiracy nutball smears dont have a lick of truth to them. Romney signed an SEC document as an officer of a company does NOT mean you work there at your day-job. Romney was working 80 hour weeks running the SLC olympics from 1999 to 2002. He was NOT actively manager of Bain. Others were. Romney told the truth and obeyed the law.
This is well-known and so well established even the liberal media have abandoned the Obama side on this and said point blank Team Obama is lying in their attacks.
Either these attacks are working or they are desperate enough to keep lying ... or both. Let them keep spending money and wasting air time telling a lie. It will bite them back.
And call Romney a RINO all you want, like it or not, he is the Republican nominee.
We'll see. It appears that Mitt is reviving the famous "I won't dignify that accusation with a comment, much less a denial" strategy that worked so well for the Presidents Bush.

Technically, yes, a new candidate could be chosen. It won't happen. People voted, call them GOP-e, RINO’s, whatever.
Changing candidates now would be idiotic, and hand Obama a huge margin of victory. Maybe that's what you want.

I didn't vote for him, but if you seriously think the Americans that did and gave him the soon-to-be nomination were all manipulated into voting that way, then we're way past the point of no return, so there's no need to scream at people about it.
