Everyone should realize that this is Obama trying to moderate himself so that he’ll appeal to middle America to help boost his re-election chances.

Imagine what he’ll do once he no longer has to worry about elections.

When will we finally come to the realization that things are so outrageously out of control that the ballot box is a lost cause and the only ghost of a chance we have of saving this country because things like this is nothing short of full on armed revolt?

So we’re being told we have a catastrophic drought in the Midwest that will cut the corn crop in half, and the soybeans likewise, and cause massive inflation in food prices at our supermarkets, so we figure out new ways for the government to remove food from the market and give it away to foreigners, thus driving our market prices even higher?

With leadership like this, who needs Caligula or Nero?

A local talk show host in New Mexico is discussing how the USDA is publishing pamphlets that detail how illegal aliens can circumvent the law to qualify for SNAP. This should dispel any doubts as to whether we have a criminal government that can’t give away taxpayer money fast enough.

Listen to Mark Levin, he is on the air right now talking about this, saying we should all go to Mexico and make the same demands from them as well. He’s on a mega roll.

Yes, taxpayer money used by Obama to advertise to illegals to come up to our USA, jump the border, sign up for freebie benefits (no valid ID required), work for cash so employers figure illegals are cheaper than citizens, get to the head of the line by being deemed a minority and vote (no valid ID required) to make Obama emperor for life.

How can anyone but tea bagger nuts find fault with such a plan?

I really don't know why everyone is blaming Obama.

This program was started by conservative-hero George W. Bush. From the article:

The partnership — which was signed by former USDA Secretary Ann M. Veneman and Mexican Secretary of Foreign Affairs Luis Ernesto Derbez Bautista in 2004 — sees to it that the Mexican Embassy and Mexican consulates in America provide USDA nutrition assistance program information to Mexican Americans, Mexican nationals working in America and migrant communities in America. The information is specifically focused on eligibility criteria and access.

For the record, USDA Secretary Ann M. Veneman was sworn into office on January 20, 2001.

Who was President in 2004 when this agreement was signed?

Who appointed Ann M. Veneman as USDA Secretary?

Obama? Are you sure this is one of his programs?

How did Obama get Bush's USDA Secretary to sign this agreement in 2004?

A better question is why didn't we know about this until now?

And we can blame Obama if it's going on under his watch as well.

A better question is why didn't we know about this until now?

Bush was very busy during his first term helping Mexicans help themselves to America's prosperity. If you want to read the gory details about the items below, visit my FR home page.

Partnership for Prosperity Agreement (with Mexico) - signed, September 6, 2001.

New Alliance Task Force - created May, 2003.

US Social Security Totalization Agreement with Mexico - signed June 2004.

During the 2004 Presidential election cycle, I tried (in vain) to get conservatives on this site to hold Bush's feet to the fire over the above. The most common response I got was 'And, what? Vote for Gore?'

In 2007, Bush's Mexican policies came home to roost and we got the housing meltdown as a result.

As the saying goes, we get the government we deserve.

I heard some of it lastnight. We are marching towards full SHTF/WROL. I’m more convinced of it everyday. I saw this stuff coming 7 years ago and it’s accelerating even worse than I thought. I’m glad I started prepping back in 2007.

Look to Milton (Open borders and the welfare state)

A decade ago, Nobel prize-winning economist Milton Friedman admonished the Wall Street Journal for its idée fixe on open-border immigration policy. “It’s just obvious you can’t have free immigration and a welfare state,” he warned.

In case anyone’s still in doubt as to the ultimate goal of the Amnestinians:
“Opening borders with the redistributionist state still intact will result in a larger and more confiscatory government.”
