Based on the Supreme Court ruling on health care, does that mean Congress could pass a law requiring everyone to purchase a gun, and fining them if they refuse to do so?

What are we going to do about automobile accidents statistic show about 115 dead per day or about one dead every 13 minutes. Are we going to take all the cars away?
And please, I hope some one does not come back and say “Well there is not much we can do about car accidents, but we sure can do something about guns” Since we have plenty of politicians who are of the same mind set as Bloomberg, matter of fact right now one of them is abusing the public housing project you know where. Because of it I do believe that a well armed public is just about as essential as having a car, perhaps even more so.

Obama will get a bounce form the Aurora shootings like he did after the Grifford shooting.
He will attend the funerals and say pretty things about compassion and understanding and non-violence and the need for us all to come together and love one another and re-elect him.
People will swoon. It could incite a new wave of Obama fever and push up his numbers.
