"Public Figure" Michael Moore's Facebook posting

As President Barack Obama's key adviser once said, "you never want a serious crisis to go to waste."
So the Oscar-winning progressive behind "Fahrenheit 9/11" and "Sicko" turned to Facebook to spread his reaction. And, typically, Moore didn't waste the opportunity to allow a single tragedy to paint his homeland in ugly terms.
"Having spent much time in the Aurora/Denver/Littleton area over the years, I am too sad about this most recent tragedy to comment at the moment, other than to say this:
I fear anthropologists and historians will look back on us and simply say we were a violent nation, at home and abroad, but in due time human decency won out and the violence ceased, but not before many, many more died and the world had had its fill of us."

Then he should move to another country, and get out of ours. I wonder, did he call France a violent country when their ‘youths’ were terrorizing and destroying neighborhoods? Does he decry the violence in the films his Hollywood brethren put out?
By what miracle do most citizens of this “violent nation” manage not to be violent?

Have they ever considered that he could have just as easily walked through the emergency exit with two jugs of gasoline and poured them out up and down the aisles and lit a match, or set off some explosives, imitated the Joker blowing up the hospital? As we have seen with George Zimmerman, the left just hate it when someone saves their own life by usng the 2nd amendment because it shows the 2nd amendment works and they love it when people die from having it infringed because they can then point their finger at the gun.

Hollywood is going to suffer because of the Colorado shooting because some people now will be afraid of going to the movies. Think maybe an "Entertainment Safety Administration" is in the works? The idea would be to get people used to the new "safety" restrictions, first at movie theatres and then at other venues that have anything to do with "entertainment".

1) Mainstream media has not reported his political views yet.
2) The left blogosphere has avoided the issue also.
3) He was accepted into a PhD program, which often indicates that the candidate has been vetted by leftist faculty and found acceptable.
4) An AP piece I just read called him “complex,” a reliable euphemism for scrambling journalists looking to mitigate the damage when a leftwinger does something indefensible.
