'Dark Knight Rises' Review: Nolan Slaps Obama With a Masterpiece

My husband and I saw the movie without having read the books. We expected the movie to stand on its own merits. We were perplexed. It seemed to be a snuff movie with a lot of torturous killing. I didn't get the point.

However....Just yesterday, we got “Hunger Games” on audio. I will listen to the book while I am at school. ( I am a full-time student at an atelier.)

I think I’ve already explained why your supposed evidence doesn’t matter.

If you have to use the books to explain what the movie “really” means, then the movie by itself must not mean what you want it to mean. Instead it probably means what I and Ed Morrissey and the lefty reviewers I linked see it to mean.
