'I'm not protecting anyone that made my life a living hell': Teen faces jail time after lashing out on Twitter and naming the boys who sexually assaulted her.

17-year-old sexual assault victim is facing a jail sentence for tweeting the names of her attackers in anger at their light punishment.

Savannah Dietrich named and shamed the boys on the social messaging site, writing: 'There you go, lock me up. I'm not protecting anyone that made my life a living Hell.'

The Louisville, Kentucky teen told The Courier-Journal she was frustrated by what she feels is a lenient deal for her attackers.

I feel this young woman has suffered a tremendous amount of pain because of what she went through, and I support her decision of doing what she did. The guys who sexually assaulted her deserve to have their names out in the public for what they did. Sure they will be shamed, but what do you think happened to their victim, who has to live with this sexual assault the rest of her life.

I think whatever punishment she gets for contempt of court will be worth it to her. Can’t “unTweet,” after all - it’s done.

Sorry, but if she was instructed not to make comment, she should have abided by that. Otherwise, put yourself in their shoes.

Let's say some psycho chick accuses you of something you didn't do, just to be vindictive.

She goes public with accusations that you did this, that, and the other thing to her, even though you didn't. But, you've already been tried and convicted in the public's mind. You could go to prison for a long time, even though you're innocent, and I'll it's happened plenty of times. Every now and then, you'll hear of a man who has spent decades in prison, and then the accuser gets a case of remorse, and retracts.

I didn’t realize shariah law had already come to the Midwest, but I was wrong. Giving rapists a slap on the wrist and threatening the victim with punishment for complaining is so typical of shariah. She should be screaming for justice from the housetops! I hope to God those feral young men are permanently shamed.

What BS. She should be able to tell whoever she wants. She is the victim, and they cannot expect her to bury this and to protect her rapists. Also, other girls should be warned about who these boys and what they did. What says they won’t do it again?

She's not referring to mere allegations. From the article:

The boys pleaded guilty on June 26 to first-degree sexual abuse and misdemeanor voyeurism. Dietrich says she was unaware of a plea agreement until just before it was announced in court.

Dietrich told the paper she was assaulted in August 2011 by two boys she knew when she passed out after drinking at a gathering. She learned months later that pictures of the assault were taken and shared with others.

In a free country, this would be chalked up as a lesson learned the hard way. In the USSA, now we have three young people with criminal records. Thank a feminist.

Obviously she named her attackers earlier. The boys might find a sucker judge somewhere to protect them for a few minutes, but that’s it.

They pleaded guilty before she tweeted their names.

Luv it when I run across a member of the female persuasion who has a "pair" and as in this case is not afraid of confronting the wuss, a-hole male judge who apparently not only gave the perps a slap on the wrist but imposed a gag order so as the guilty would never have to worry their identity (and their dastardly deed) would see the light of day.

You go girl and if you set up a defense fund, I'll contribute!

Did you bother to read the article? There are PICTURES and the scum pleaded guilty in order to get a lighter sentence.

I hope she starts a defense fund. I’ll donate.

Still, she shouldn’t make comment, at least until the trial is over. We’re supposed to be innocent until proven guilty, even if it looks bad for the perps.

Well, it's not like the boys were innocent:

The boys pleaded guilty on June 26 to first-degree sexual abuse and misdemeanor voyeurism. Dietrich says she was unaware of a plea agreement until just before it was announced in court.

There were photos taken of the sexual assault and they passed around, while she lay there passed out. And she did not learn of the photos until a few months later after they were passed around.

She has every right to speak her mind about this, being the sentance was so lenient. The judge’s orders need to be damned! The judges is protecting the sex perverts.

She is willing to go to jail over this freedom of speaking out. It would really be crazy if she were to serve time in jail for speaking out the names of the sex perverts, and the sex perverts get to walk free.
