I hope it is not a big let down. The first one was good and the stars fit their parts well but I read that most of the original stars are gone and a whole batch of new actors will be playing the parts.

I was on the set for the Rearden Trial and Francisco's money speech. A good friend of mine is involved in the production. I was there for the final night of shooting as well as playing an extra in a few scenes over the course of shooting, giving me a good sense of how the movie will look. If you like the novel you will not be disappointed. The Atlas Society is involved in every scene interpretation. It really feels like Rand's predictions of how dependency plays out is so on the mark. The acting was good in the first movie but the production company had an opportunity to get better actors for Part 2. I found Esai Morales far more believable as Francisco than the Part 1 actor. The monologues I heard on set gave me chills. Here I am on set with Jonathan Hoenig who is one of the many high profile conservatives used as featured extras.

Bob Beckels (stooge on Hannity show), conservative brother played the oil king and he was really great. I hope whoever replaces him is at least half as good.
