Carroll County has been strongly Republican since the '80s. We've had a mixed bag of commissioners but I can't recall the last anti-gun one. Rothschild has a good shot at re-election.

Believe it or not, I live in a pretty conservative rural valley town in the People’s Democratic Republic of California. People outside California don’t think there are any conservative enclaves in this state, but there are a few pockets here and there.
