I read his quote. It was nothing. Amidst widespread reports Britain is NOT ready, I’m sure he was asked if they are. In essence he said, we’ll see and the important thing is to see if all Britains come together for an olympic experience.

Well then why didn't he just simply say, "We extend our wishes that Britain comes together for an Olympic Experience", and leave it at that.

The warning came with yesterday's ridiculous "Anglo-Saxon" nonsense. He should have just smiled and said how he can't wait to see the Olympics and that he wants it to be a huge success. No nuance.
