President Obama famously sent Churchill's bust back to Britain soon after coming into office. As the Telegraph reported then:
A bust of the former prime minister once voted the greatest Briton in history, which was loaned to George W Bush from the Government's art collection after the September 11 attacks, has now been formally handed back.
The bronze by Sir Jacob Epstein, worth hundreds of thousands of pounds if it were ever sold on the open market, enjoyed pride of place in the Oval Office during President Bush's tenure.
But when British officials offered to let Mr Obama to hang onto the bust for a further four years, the White House said: "Thanks, but no thanks."
Good move, but Romney’s got a long way to go.

Character, Honor, Integrity, Virtue, Wisdom and the like...Winston Churchill possessed them, Obama did what he did because he will never possess any of them.
It will be nice to have the Bust of W.C. back in the Oval office again indeed.

Given that the British Labour Party actively supported Gore, Kerry, and Obama it is important for Romney to go to Britain to at least erode Zero’s UK support.
It’s - Romney’s statement - window dressing. That’s all.
What’s needed IS re-evaluation of that “special relationship”?
Outside of the European theater of operations, I think our interests are diverging, and becoming less in Sync than ever before, and not because of Obama, but because of “European” and Middle East interests are becoming more important TO BRITAIN, and in the latter I am not referring to Israel.

When Obama loses, Romney can also send them the bust of Obama that Obama replaced the Churchill bust with.
That is what was reported by insiders and I believe it was Dick Morris that I heard report it.
