Why GOP leaders slur Bachmann, defend Obama
WND ^ | July 27, 2012 | Alan Keyes

Posted on 07/27/2012 9:20:40 AM PDT by EternalVigilance

During the GOP’s blatantly rigged 2012 primary season, Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., distinguished herself as a sincere spokeswoman for the conservative grass-roots constituency the nomination of Mitt Romney will emphatically betray. Just recently she joined with several of her colleagues courageously to demand an investigation into evidence the Obama faction has placed people associated with organizations that promote Islamic jihad and Shariah law into high-level positions in the U.S. government, from which they may be exerting inordinate influence on America’s foreign and national-security policy. Now key members of the elitist faction’s leadership in the Democratic and Republican parties have embarked upon a scurrilous campaign of personal destruction aimed at discrediting Bachmann’s demand. Their campaign makes use of ad hominem attacks that accuse her of anti-Muslim bigotry and falsely suggest that her apprehension has no factual basis. Yet the ad hominem assault appears to have been launched precisely because Rep. Bachmann capably established the solid basis for her concerns. In a letter to Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., she rebutted his scurrilously false characterizations of her actions with a meticulously footnoted response amply documenting the facts that justify her security concerns.

-----

Why has the GOP leadership unleashed this communist-style purge against Michele Bachmann? Why do they seek to thwart the demand seriously to investigate what could very well be a fatal threat to America’s security? Why do they cooperate in discouraging an inquiry into what appears to be a serious lapse of competence and/or loyalty in the Obama faction’s stewardship of America’s most vital national-security interests? Why indeed, unless the elitist-faction agenda calls for another sham election, in which the leaders of its GOP wing dutifully lend themselves to the betrayal of the party’s conservative base (and America’s survival in freedom), as they did in 2008.

Frank Gaffney has been talking about the brotherhood infection on both sides of the aisle for yeas now. He says its a globalism thing with both sides having the same immediate goals even if the long term goals differ.

She wants a Holy War and the GOP doesn’t.

What she, or they, want is only marginally important.

What matters is:

A) Are the forces of Islam, including those who are part of the Muslim Brotherhood, at war with us?

Of course they are.

And...

B) Have those forces succeeded in infiltrating into the highest levels of our government, with the help of the leaders of the Democrat and Republican parties?

It's not unreasonable to think that they have.

Who has the dumbest Republican primary voters? Could it be AZ? Or maybe one of her neighbors? Who? What about FL?

It's not complicated. They simply have no balls, and as a consequence they are afraid of being labeled Islamophobic. Bachmann may also have stepped on a few toes over the years and they see this as an opportunity to stick it to her. I sure wish she had been a better campaigner, because she's often on the money in terms of policy.

The DC elites, the PC crowd want to ‘reach’ out to the millions of Muslim voters as if they could reach them. Please. Minorities are in the pocket of the Dems as long as they get our tax monies for perks that the payers give out.

Honestly, J.D. Hayworth ran a campaign that made McCain look like Patton by comparison. Even if he had won the primary, he likely would have lost to Glassman (who would be worse than McCain and 40 years younger). The AZ pub party often has trouble coming up with decent candidates; it’s as though there’s no “farm team” to keep an eye out for up and comers. Look at the race to fill Kyle’s seat: A primary between a guy who employed illegal aliens and one who wants to grant them amnesty! To make matters worse, Tucson is dark, dark blue at this point and Phoenix is on the way, so I wouldn’t hold out a lot of hope for AZ in the future. It’s a purple state in many ways already. Some of the illegals left, but there are hoards of “baby mommies” running around looking for Uncle Sugar Daddy to pay the bills, and they vote. There are also a lot of elderly union grifters who will vote D until (and likely after) death. Then there is the hispandering industry.

You used to be a conservative ex-snook. You've become another dhimmi isolationist. Sad.

Romney et all won by pretending to be as conservative as Bachmann, while the media colluded to minimize her presence in debates. She was given less than half the time that Romney had in any debate.

Because Brotherhood money buys republicans just as good as it buys democrats.>

Yup to the R's green is green. I wonder if Bachmann will join Gene McCarthy.

"Properly developed, such issues would energize successful opposition to Obama, especially in the context of a trustworthy allegiance to America’s founding principle of God-endowed unalienable rights. The GOP’s elitist-faction clique adamantly opposes anyone seriously committed to pursuing these issues because they are themselves so deeply implicated in the ongoing deconstruction of America’s liberty. The factional clique maintains the false pretense of speaking to and for conservative voters in order to prevent these voters from uniting against the bipartisan political sham being orchestrated to decompose the constitutional republic. The GOP’s elitist faction leaders have to keep them from realizing and acting on their true strength. Such a reaction would disrupt the elitist faction’s game, for it would reveal its still extant vulnerability. In an authentic three-way political contest, the number of those who prefer American liberty to anti-American socialism is more than sufficient to defeat, in general election, both wings of the elite faction’s partisan sham."

The corruption is so rampant at this point we would practically have to throw all 535 of them out at the same time in order to make any significant change.

Sorry you feel that way. I don't know what a dhimmi isolationist is but I am a non-interventionist in that area of the world. The coalition, including muslims, of Bush I in the Kuwait war is the way to go. We have since adopted the policy of overthrowing leaders militarily and will no doubt end up with worse. We have been totally unable to again form a Bush I coalition to back us either in Europe or in the Muslim countries. One by one they fade away. I see China as our potential enemy not a bunch unable to have a world class military anything and need to resort to stealing planes, improvised devices and killing themselves to be considered a threat. Hardly threatening to take over the world.

I'm still a conservative who wants to conserve America and not be the world's police force. We have our own citizens to take care of.

“Why GOP leaders slur Bachmann, defend Obama?”

To appease the Muslim Brotherhood.

When will they learn? Didn’t they learn anything from Chamberlain?
