Brilliant idea! Can't wait to see it!

We, across the pond, don’t get to see it live.
NBC delays everything. That gives them more time to insert inane commentaries.

Watching it live here on Czech Channel 4 (Sports) live.
That moment (with the Queen & Daniel Craig); very cool. Sad to hear that you can’t see it live. I’m watching all the countries enter into the Olympic Stadium.
Good ceremony so far, and a top ‘o the hat to Danny Boyle. Even a nice little cameo by Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean/Blackadder) in a good comic turn, as always.

It sounds almost worth watching. Just one thought, they could do a memorial for 7/7, but not for the 40th anniversary of Munich. The reason given for no Munich remembrance was the tone. How is 7/7 a different tone?

A terrible show that gave me a headache. The industrial revolution was portrayed as a filthy travesty. The Queen was reduced to a Hollyweird stooge and sidekick. Mr Bean involved disgusting body functions that pass as humor these days. The music clips were too numerous and short to be of any entertaining quality.
The UK owes me a headache pill from the worst show in history. Oh and now they are building a flag shrine around a large treehuggers hill. Sick.

It will be hard to top the opening ceremony four years ago.

Amazing how some sport organization can lock down virtually an entire continent of people where you cant even get a decent photo of what is happening live in another country!
You have to scrape YouTube just to get a blurry 30 second clip of someone pointing a camera at a TV.

An amazing montage of great British music followed. With dancers performing to classics by bands like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Jam, David Bowie, THe Sex Pistols, Queen, Soul II Soul, The Eurythmics and THe Prodigy. The scene ended in a rave with the classic track Born Slippy by Underworld from Boyle's film TRainspotting.Sounds cool. I am a huge fan of The Jam.

They should have had Johnny English take the queen from James Bond before the end.

Think you need to relax. It was a great show. The Olympic rings rising from those “Stanic Mills” was visually stunning.

You forgot to mention the Guiness Book of Records-worthy, largest Drum Circle in history!
