Like the rising of the sun in the east and its setting in the west, one can always count on some element of the Left to resort to the 'R-word' to shield President Obama from the consequences of his own words and actions. Today, the inevitable officially occurred. Take it away, Jonathan Chait:
Mitt Romney’s plan of blatantly lying about President Obama’s “you didn’t build that” speech is clearly drawing blood. But what makes the attack work so well is not so much the lie itself but the broader subtext of it. Watch Obama’s delivery in the snippet put together by this Republican ad: The key thing is that Obama is angry, and he’s talking not in his normal voice but in a “black dialect.” This strikes at the core of Obama’s entire political identity: a soft-spoken, reasonable African-American with a Kansas accent. From the moment he stepped onto the national stage, Obama’s deepest political fear was being seen as a “traditional” black politician, one who was demanding redistribution from white America on behalf of his fellow African-Americans.
Wow! Obama was speaking in his "black dialect" when he made those remarks? Does Chait have access to a special decoder ring that allows him to divine such dialectical interpretations? There's a whiff of racism here, alright, but it isn't emanating from where Chait thinks it is. As disgusting and obnoxious as it is, Chait's sub-moronic column is unalloyed good news. Liberals have moved from largely ignoring "you didn't build that," hoping it would magically go away, to shouting "out of context!" in unison, to flagrant, idiotic race-baiting. (MSNBC actually beat Chait to this punch, albeit from a slightly different perspective). Put bluntly, this is panic mode. The Wall Street Journal's Kimberly Strassel has an inkling of why the desperation is setting in:
The Obama campaign has elevated poll-testing and focus-grouping to near-clinical heights, and the results drive the president's every action: his policies, his campaign venues, his targeted demographics, his messaging. That Mr. Obama felt required—teeth-gritted—to address the "you didn't build that" meme means his vaunted focus groups are sounding alarms. The obsession with tested messages is precisely why the president's rare moments of candor—on free enterprise, on those who "cling to their guns and religion," on the need to "spread the wealth around"—are so revealing. They are a look at the real man.
Ed Morrissey also notes the Obama campaign's worries over the shrinking 'gender gap,' which is why his campaign has put out an ad lying about Mitt Romney's position on abortion:

Even the irredeemably liberal "fact-checker," Politifact, awards this spot a "pants on fire" rating. Why? Because like the majority of Americans, Romney is pro-life -- but he does not support outright bans, even in (extremely rare) cases of rape and incest. It's a desperate and false claim. But while we're on the subject of abortion policy extremism, do you know who voted three times against banning post-birth infanticide of babies who survived botched abortions, then lied about it? Take a wild guess. I'll leave you with two polling data points, one heartening, the other not so much:
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows Mitt Romney attracting 49% of the vote, while President Obama earns support from 44%. Three percent (3%) prefer some other candidate, and four percent (4%) are undecided. The numbers are similar to the 49% to 43% advantage Romney enjoys on the question of who is trusted more to handle the economy.
An interesting -- although not necessarily meaningful -- catch by Business Insider: Four years ago today, the Rasmussen tracker had Obama leading McCain by the exact same margin, 49-44. Meanwhile, We Ask America has a poll out showing Obama ahead of Romney in must-win Ohio by eight points. In this survey, Romney actually leads with independents, but loses nearly 20 percent (!) of the Republican vote to Obama. Color me intensely skeptical. Obama didn't even come close to that sort of crossover appeal in 2008, when he was at his zenith of popularity.
Nobody is stupid enough to believe that.

Leftie Bob Beckel made the usual ass of himself just now, yelling “out of context” over and over again on The Five. I could watch that show if that pig Beckel wasn’t there ruining it. The other panel members treat him like comic relief, but his lying, bullying act makes me mad.

“OUT OF CONTEXT” fails to be an excuse when the whole damn country has heard the whole damn statement time and time again.
While the left basks in its pool of ignorance the rest of us know what a charactichure Obama has become of himself, not to mention, a fool.
“OUT OF CONTEXT” is destined to become a overall defense for stupidity the way “racist” has, and I doubt the limited reading comprehension of the left would understand anyway.
In the typical OUT OF CONTEXT scenario, the meaning of a a word, or phrase, changes completely when added back into the original message, but in obamas case, adding it back into his original remarks amplifies and makes the whole thing even more damning.
And then comes, “IT WORKED”, as Obama tries to piss on our shoes and tell us it’s raining in the form of declaring that ANYTHING hehas done pertaining to the economy, or America, has worked.
With the American economy and our way of life almost FUBAR, thanks to the Kenyan, he’ll be hard pressed to prove that one in a debate.
The Obama “legacy”? No, we didn’t build that...he did.

Almost everyone knows what Obama said and what he meant by it. Almost everybody knows that his socialist background drove it. He was trying to build the sentiment that you can not do anything without government and we all realize it. All the argument otherwise just convinces everybody.
I just feel its important for people to hear the truth.
The latest liberal mountain of fecal material concerns this “dog whistle” business. Supposedly Romney is saying certain things that his supporters agree with. Can you imagine that? A candidate actually saying things that his base agrees with. Why, I never heard of such a thing. (snicker) The whole premise of the “dog whistle” is absurd to begin with. Even if Romney were intimating that Obama is a commie (which he’s never said publicly), he’d only be agreeing with about 95% of conservatives.

The political left has always grossly over estimated their influence and the numbers of their supporters. At the same time they have way underestimated the resiliency of the American economy and the viability of our institutions.These factors have lead the left into folly at least twice in our history, Woodrow Wilson and FDR, and is in action the third time now with Obama.World wide the left has never succeeded in it’s aims with legislation alone thus inducing frustration. What is frightening is that too often when that last straw of frustration hits their backs they resort to guns and shooting those who oppose them.Obama is of the same mind set of those who shoot their opposition.
John McCain was carefully picked and manipulated to the top of the ticket in 08 by the political elite. They let him pick his VP and when they realized what she was they went all out to destroy her before she put McCain in the oval office. Palin would have derailed their dreams for decades.
Mitt Romney was carefully picked and manipulated to the top of the ticket. Trying to find someone weaker than Obama was difficult but they where certain they had found one. After all McCain beat him four years ago. The political elite desperately want their socialist dictatorship and while Romney will continue to move the nation towards that dream it is not as fast as Obama will. However now the elite are becoming terrified that Romney is not weak enough for Obama to win.
I am praying hard that the RNC develops more intelligence than a rock and throws Romney under the bus with the start of the convention.

The fact is Romney has been one of the most staunch pro-abortion advocates nearly all his adult life. Nice of them to leave that out.
But they have won almost everything they go after. The GOP always surrenders. Conservatism is losing to the left BIG TIME - just look around.
