WASHINGTON — Protesters targeted a Chick-fil-A food truck in Washington on Thursday after the fast-food chain's president came out candidly against same-sex marriage.
"Ho-ho, hey-hey, Chick-fil-A is anti-gay," chanted a young crowd of around 20 demonstrators, with no apparent impact on the steady flow of patrons picking up chicken sandwiches and nuggets under the hot midday sun.
Mainly present in the southern United States, but expanding into other parts of the country, Chick-fil-A is as famous for its Christian values -- it never opens on Sundays -- as it is for its menu.
But company president Dan Cathy angered gay rights groups and their allies when he criticized marriage equality, saying last week that Americans are "inviting God's judgment" by accepting the idea that two people of the same sex can wed.
Elected officials in Boston and Chicago have gone so far as to tell Chick-fil-A to stay out of their towns, while the Jim Henson Company said it would no longer supply its popular puppet toys to the family-owned chain.
Dan Rafter of the Human Rights Campaign, which organized the Washington protest, told AFP that Chick-fil-A has a "long history" of funding groups that oppose greater rights for gays and lesbians.

oh NOW I know what those railroad tracks mean. I have seen them on cars and first I thought they were a captain’s insignia like around a military base. Now I see they are a part of the gay agenda trying to carve out a special classification for themselves.
Faggots never have eaten at CFA in the first place. They are liberals and I have never met a liberal that didn’t refuse to eat at CFA because “they’re Christian”. It is hard to boycott a business you never used in the first place.

These radicals need to be fought politically. The owner of chick fil A merely mentioned his religious beliefs and his personal support of traditional marriage. I say if you no longer are safe to say that in America, then MY human rights are being violated and I demand it be stopped.
These people are thugs. So are some in official positions in the Obama administration.
The Catholic church has been sucker punched over its first amendment right to take no active part in birth control or helping abortions.
We see very little of the Obama anti-Christian attitudes protrayed in the media. They are covering for The One.

There was a time when common sense wasn’t illegal in this country.

Dan Cathy should sue those hypocritical Democrat mayors (elected public officials all sworn to uphold the law)in federal court for violating his civil rights. Let the trials and depositions begin! Cathy is a wealthy guy and probably does not want the aggravation but such a suit would benefit the free speech rights of Christian conservatives and highlight the absurdity of the Left.
This reminds me when the black mobs attacked Reginald Denny, a loan white truck driver caught in the aftermath of the Rodney King episode. Angry mobs venting their frustrations on innocent people.
This is one of the greatest advertising campaigns any business ever had. If this "Anti-pervert" thing doesn't make them the most popular family fast food restaurant in the country, nothing will.

I lived and worked in the CA bay area for years and have watched that symbol “ = “ go from “ silence = death” to it’s current shortened form. I think it originally had something to to with the AIDS situation.
The lefties are making it more and more difficult to remember that "God is patient with you, wanting no one to perish, but all to repent".
