Hardly. Clinton, for all his foibles, at least knew what the hell he was doing and didn't destroy the economy doing it. Given the choice between these two men, I'd take another Clinton term in a hearbeat. I'd take stained dresses over multi-trillion dollar debt. After nearly four years of Obama, the 1990s wasn't so bad after all.
Obama is far worse than Carter. He might even be worse than LBJ. History will tell. While the mistakes of the Carter Administration have largely been erased, LBJ's Great Society programs still wreak havoc upon this nation, generations after he has left office. I fear Obama's legacy will do the same.
At least LBJ knew he was a terrible president and sat out re-election.
