Move to ban online ammo sales just cheap political theater
BizPac Review ^ | July 31, 2012 | Michael Dorstewitz

Last week, I argued that the worst time to debate any gun control issue was in the wake of a massacre. I guess I didn’t say it loud enough because the people in New York and New Jersey didn’t hear me.

Democratic lawmakers U.S. Rep. Carolyn McCarthy, N.Y. and U.S. Sen. Frank Lautenberg, N.J. announced the Stop Online Ammunition Sales Act Monday afternoon on the steps of New York City Hall. The bill, if passed, would put an end to all mail-order and online sales of ammunition.

Another attempt to limit Second Amendment rights -- this time by limiting how we may purchase our ammunition.

I’m in constant amazement that Liberals keep thinking they can change everything by passing a law. Looking back everything they attempted to change that way has backfired. A perfect example is, “The War on Drugs”, how has that worked out. Jails are full, innocent people have died and drugs are as prevalent as ever if not more.

U.S. Rep. Carolyn McCarthy, N.Y. was elected to her seat, on the very premise of gun control! She is the all too willing widow of a victim of Colin Ferguson, the Long Island Railroad shooter, who used a revolver. She is the intelligent one, who could not name correctly various magazines or rifle parts, but is so willing to limit and restrict them, just because they are bad. Talk about someone who lied, when they took their Oath of Office!

I agree that this is another attempt to limit 2ndA rights.
I agree, better get all that ‘military’ caliber stuff, before the door is shut. Me? Revolver and lever action stuff would do me well.

Oh, btw, Rep McCarthy, your fellow Communist Dianne Feinstein made sure that my stuff was NOT listed in the original assault rifle ban!

Very true. Therefore the inescapable conclusion is that the problem isn't the McCarthy wh0re*, but the New Yorkers who elected her. she won her last election 89k to 77k, so it's the NEW YORK VOTERS who are the problem. New Yorkers are like plague rats spreading their filth of liberal ideas everywhere they go.

*One who commits immoral acts for money - lying is an immoral act therefore McCarthy is a wh0re. QED.

I agree — Congress hasn’t stopped him yet. No cap and trade legislation? Sic the EPA on the coal industry. No Card Check? Bring out the NLRB.
