Maybe Old Buckshot Cheney thought he would get a speaking
spot at the convention when he trashed Palin. I guess he
did not trash her enough, as he will not be attending the
convention, much less speaking.
So why do we give a flip I say go fishing—When politicians spent 20-30-40 years in Washington and are part of the problem-I don’t want to hear from you just go away—why does it become a big deal when the so called retired politicians-want to stand up and say look at me i am still popular-instead of what they did to screw things up so I say to Cheney and Clinton and all rest of the Political Class go away

Given his recent health issues it’s understandable that he’d want to take a pass.In fact,for reasons of infection,his doctors may have advised him to avoid it (transplant patients are at great risk of developing serious infections).OTOH,he may recognize that the press has done a very good job on him and,as a result,he’s quite unpopular and,as a result,he’d be doing the Party a favor by staying away.

I used to fish the same South Fork Snake River waters that Cheney does. If I had his choice, Paradise would win hands-down. Besides, after what the guy’s been through politically and physically, he deserves and the R & R he can get.
I can think of plenty of people I’d like to send him hunting with.
