Just got back from lunch (Cary, NC). I have 3 observations:

1. They were absolutely covered up. Inside they had every register open and it was 3 - 4 deep at all of them. The line at the drive through wrapped around the building, out into the street and about a half block down the road. And it was 11:30!!
2. The clientele and staff were the most polite and friendly group of people you would ever hope to be part of. Laughing with each other and just having a good time. BTW, it was a good sampling of America - all colors, shapes and sizes - all having a good time.
3. There was not a reporter anywhere.

Kitkat:FUNNY LINE! I love it.

Leep:Yes, Its a good one but its Gator113 line.

Kitkat:My state has only one CFA and it’s several hundred miles from here or I’d be there.

Leep: Likewise,my closest CFA is 100+ miles away. Although,I’m going to order a Chic-Fil-A T-shirt in support.

I have been there twice already this week, and will dine there tonight.

I have a lesson to teach in Parkland and then it’s over to Coral Springs for a Spicy Southwestern Chicken Salad and some Diet Lemonade (32 oz cup of course! )

I got breakfast there this morning but could not wait for lunch. At 12:30 the Chick Fil A in Olathe, KS.
you could not even get close. Cars in every direction . Police directing traffic . We ended up eating at Mr. Gyro. I didn’t have the time. Might try for dinner. asked a person who parked about 1800’ from the entrance to the rest how long it took him and he said 45 mins to get to the front of the line. The cars at the drive thru had to be 60 of them. good to see.

The liberals will burn for this crime against AMERICAN VALUES.

I hope Mr. Cathy shows his appreciation by giving every voter on November 6th a Free shake with proof of voting (little sticker most get at the polls saying I VOTED.

I went by my local Chick-Fil-A.

There was a line outside all the back to the main street.
AND it’s HOT and very MUGGY outside.

The drive thru had quite a few cars in line, but the WALK IN must have had at least 50 people in line OUTSIDE the door.

I can’t imagine how many were inside. I couldn’t even get into the parking lot.

Maybe I’ll go there for dinner instead of lunch.

Florence, KY checking in

Traffic was backed up trying to enter the shopping center, the line for the dining room was halfway around the building and the drive thru line went on forever.

We had two "protesters". One guy had a tall wooden cross and the other held a sign saying "Jesus agrees with Chick-fil-A".

I spent so long in traffic that I wasted my whole lunch hour, but decided it was worth it :)

I hit the Mechanicsburg, PA store around 1100. Every register (6-8) was in use and the place was jam packed. Not sure if this was just at this location but the management had their act together. There was a tractor trailer in the side lot with 3 men shuttling supplies into the joint. I got my food to go and went on an auto parts mission. I drove back by around 1130 and there was two lines snaking around the building, drive thru jammed and the streets leading up to it were jammed.

It’s our wedding anniversary today so we are going to a sit down restaurant for anniversary dinner. Conveniently, there is a Chik-Fil-A restaurant on the way out of the shopping center where we are having dinner. Going to pick up some chicken on the way home! Might just need a midnight snack...............

Monroeville, PA Chick Fil-A report: Arrived 12:15. Decided to park a block away and walk over so I could talk with people. Line was out the door, everyone super nice and polite. Drive-through into the adjoining parking lots. I talked to a wonderful woman in her 70’s that heard about it from a friend, and she noticed how many people were talking about hearing about this from email or facebook. I believe I was able to convince her to come to a Tea Party event, which had much of the same atmosphere. There were people wearing shirts that said “Keep God In This City” sprinkled in the crowd. Most of these folks were black, by the way (interesting only from a political demographic). Old and young, some military. Service was fast, efficient and the food was great. BIG FREAKIN’ WIN!

I tried to go to the one in North Fort Myers today but the line of cars stretched all the way around the building and I didn’t have time to wait. Will try a different branch around 9:30 tonight.

Western Philly ‘burbs:

The drive through line snaked around the building and out on the Business Rt. 30.

The parking lot was full. People were parking at Best Buy and Home Depot and walking over. The inside was standing room only.
