I went to Northern California's sole Chick-fil-A today about an hour outside of San Francisco. Lines stretched well out into the parking lot.

Report from Olathe, KS: Traffic at 11:50 am backed up for 1/4 mile, people lining up outside Chick Fil A. At 2:30p the traffic had lessoned but the hustle and bustle around our Chick Fil A meant at least a half hour wait before even reaching the parking lot. People milling about, parking in lots across the street from the restaurant etc... At 5:50pm traffic once more jammed for about an hour wait and tons of people were all over the place, very orderly and having a great time. All other fast food places were lonely including Sonic where I eventually wound up. :(

Today has been epic to borrow a phrase from Charlie Sheen. I sincerely hope this repeats itself in November. We need a win after the Supreme Court went Socialist with their ObamaCare decision.

Inside was packed to the gills, standing room only. Everyone was very friendly, smiling and laughing. It was superb! When someone’s order was up the staff would call out their name and then it was like an echo throughout the room....everyone trying to locate the customer. When food bags met customer, clapping or dancing or fist pumping or ‘SCOOOOOOOOOORE!!!” Great fun!!!!

That exactly describes my experience at CFA on Gulf to Bay in Clearwater, FL late this afternoon.

Double car line around the building, tons of people crammed inside the building, and everyone with big smiles on their faces.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, well-prepared, wholesome-looking, professional, and above all -- cheerful.

Wow, what a contrast to the leftist haters whose motto is "Eat More Hate."

I'm not saying that people can't change, but Romney's gubernatorial record isn't exactly ancient history, and in the time since he left that office, he's done little to repudiate all that he did to serve the goals of the left.

How are we to know that he's 'changed', unless he shows us in some way? Are we supposed to just take his word for it?

If his campaign rhetoric is all the proof you need to convince you he's 'changed', then so be it. I've heard plenty of words out of that man, but haven't seen diddly squat for actual deeds that could back up his alleged conservatism.

Hanging tough with the Tea Party from Day One would have gone a long way toward truly establishing his conservative/patriotic credentials. It wouldn't have cost him anything, and would have been a lot more convincing than millions of dollars worth of campaign ads, stump speeches, debate performances, etc.

But he didn't do that. In fact, he never once broke bread with the Tea Party, and has mysteriously kept his distance from what has quickly become one of the most significant political movements in our nation's history.

Go to your local pet shop. Buy one rat, the mangey gray ones they sell for cheap, as snake-food for people who have large snakes.

Get some kind of small container with a way of having fresh air. A can for tennis balls might work, if you punch holes in the lid. A previously-used Chik-Filth-E bag might be perfect for the job because you can leave it under the table with the top almost entirely unrolled, so the rat can escape on its own.

Go into a Chik-Filth-E during dinner hour, when lots of homophobes will be taking their families out to get salmonella. Keep your secret rat container carefully concealed. Choose your seating tactically. You want to be in an area where no matter which way the rat wants to go, it has to cross an open area where people will see it. Be sure you’re not sitting where any obvious cameras can see you.

When you release the rat, don’t be the first to spot it. Let someone else spot it. As soon as you hear someone say “eek a rat!” or similar words, you can say “Eww I think I’m gonna’ be sick” and exit. Or you can exit early, before anyone else sees the rat.

It’s even more fun if you have an accomplice who came in at about the same time as you, but showed no sign of knowing you, and who sat somewhere else that had a commanding view of the entire room. Your accomplice can stay behind to take cellphone video of the rat and the other patrons’ reactions, and can also serve as a witness that the rat came from somewhere other than the area where you were sitting. For example, “I think it crawled out of the trash can over there...”

All it takes is ONE rat in the middle of a crowded dinner hour, to make all kinds of merriment that will last and last. “

Two locations on 31st street, Temple Texas

 

 

I don't live in this particular town, was passing through on business, so I started at the southern end of 31st in order to be able to pass by all three locations, though one of them was inside a mall and I wasn't going in there. Passed by this first one @ 6:15PM and there was no way I was going in this one - parking lots were full to both sides which included a defunct Cicuit City location and a drive through line that spilled out onto the street. This location has no inside dining, it's basically drive-through or seating under a pavilion. An associate tried to patronize this location at lunch time but it was impossible.

Last location on North 31st - the drive-through line was hideous and people were parking anywhere and everywhere in order to walk in. Noticed that the line was not strung outside, so I parked across the street and went in.

 

 

 

The crew inside this location was a well-oiled machine - they kept things moving inside and outside - no lost motion. I was out of there in 15 minutes. There was a young man with a strong set of lungs who bellowed the names of customers since there was no numbering system. Saw a large cross-section of folk while I was waiting. Young, old, black, white, "latino", Asian - lots of young people - emos, bikers, geeks, hip-hop types, soldiers wearing their ACUs, punk-rockers, along with what I strongly suspect were two homo dudes, and a lot of various church and church organization tee shirts to be seen among the customers. BIG cross-section of America showed up. I also kept my ears open and through the steady buzz or near roar of the customers I could pick out snatches of conversation and it was nearly all political. This action Wednesday was most definitely a pro-active backlash against the tyrannical left - no doubt about it. America is far from being "over" - and I don't think it's "over" until WE, The People, say that it is.

Turns out tha Mom,Dad, 2 sisters and BIL went to 2 CFAs in the South Hills Pittsburgh area. Both were packed, lines out the door, around the building.

This is one of those from left field things "where the heck did that come from?" that knock the political oracles on their a$$es.

Pierce County would be perfect, especially if they stuck it right outside the front gate of Lewis-McChord. I bet those soldiers from the south would love to have some Chick-Fil-A!

Yep … the soldiers at JBLM would keep a Chick-Fil-A busy from whenever they chose to open until whenever they chose to close. And that's before adding any civilian traffic to the mix.
