Chick-fil-A announced Thursday morning that supporters who flocked to the restaurant for "Appreciation Day" propelled the company to a "record-setting day."
The statement confirmed anecdotal claims that the long lines seen at Chick-fil-A's across the country Wednesday fueled unprecedented sales. The turnout came after CEO Dan Cathy came under fire in some circles for his opposition to same-sex marriage.
"We are very grateful and humbled by the incredible turnout of loyal Chick-fil-A customers on August 1 at Chick-fil-A restaurants around the country. We congratulate local Chick-fil-A Owner/Operators and their team members for striving to serve each and every customer with genuine hospitality," the company said in a statement. "While we don't release exact sales numbers, we can confirm reports that it was a record-setting day."

Whatever TV stations cover Chick-fil-A restaurants on Friday will see in-your-face provocateurs attempting to call attention to themselves with narcissistic displays of self-love while grossing out employees and other patrons.
Don't think the lessons -- the comparative behaviors of adult conservatives in public vs. the behaviors of psychologically stunted liberals in public -- won't reach especially the independent voters who are weighing which party's local and national candidates they'll be voting for in November.

I am going back tomorrow to show my support.
My wife and I set yesterday aside as ourt day to visit Chick-fil-a. We were delighted to see so many people show up to fight back against the liberal propaganda.
The left STILL doesn’t understand the Bill of Rights. Religion aside, Mr. Cathy exercvised his 1st Amendment right and the left wanted to shut him down for it!!??? Than you all for showing the left that the majority of us still believe in and support the Constitution.
Its been a good week. Record turnout for Ted Cruz and CFA. I think this may be the single worst omen I’ve seen so far for Obama in November.
Good people got that fired-up about a persecuted chicken-joint ... they went out, spent money, endured traffic, and waited for hours for the opportunity. Just think what they’d be willing to endure come November.

Nothing and I mean NOTHING pisses off these people more then when you smile at them and tell them you think it’s great they have the freedom to express themselves in this wonderful country.

Another observation, CFA staff.
Few other fast food restaurants can seem to match the alert, well trained, courteous, efficient, folks working the CFA counter. On days when traffic is normal, or yesterday when it was crazy, the folks just looked like the knew what they were about.
If they ever do a burger........
There is one thing that equals or maybe betters that: telling them that God loves them and that you will be praying for them.

Actually, I saw one video of where a Chick-Fil-A manager walked out to the homosexual protesters and smiled at them and gave them bottles of water and some snacks. No debating, no arguing, just love. Now that just shows how Jesus would want us to treat them. Powerful witness!
Now it's a tossup between Chick-Fil-A and Whataburger. Whataburger is our favorite fast food burger chain in our part of the country (Texas). The question will be, Beef or Chicken?
I think we should make Friday a Chick-Fil-A support day #2.
We don’t have one close to me, neither do millions of Americans that may not have heard of Chick-Fil-A before all this. How many times has the name “Chick-Fil-A” been said in the media over the last week? Now people from all over the country know who they are - without spending a penny!
Brilliant!!! When people travel and see a Chick-Fil-A, they’ll know the name and stop for lunch. Of course there will be a few that will never eat there but I’ll bet that the net gain is far more.

I contacted the local police to have a presence at Chick Fil-A restaurants, and they said they were already aware of this, and I guess preparing for this...
I doubt in this part of the United States that the GLADD folks will get much support, though they be a problem in New Orleans, which has had drag queens as long I can remember.
The Los Angeles Times has an article that basically says the GLADD folks will look bullies tomorrow (Friday, August 3).
The protest by GLADD is supposed to occur every Friday.
The difference between liberals and conservatives -
Conservative Protest: Polite. Clean. Shows support. Improves the economy. Usually gets little media coverage. Numbers are minimized by the media. Media looks for trouble and tries to make anything sound racist or negative. Gets media spin as a bad thing.
Liberal Protest: Nasty. Dirty. Violent. Seeks to do harm. Destroys the economy. Often results in vandalism. Police called out. Gets media spin as a positive thing.
Think about any liberal protest you can recall. Compare that to the Tea Party marches or the Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day..
Which group would you like to have as neighbors? Which represents the America you’d like to live in?

I would think it would be awesome if Chick-Fil-A gave the protesters a free sandwich with a message saying, we aren’t bigots we just believe in the words of Christ. Watch the liberals brains explode.
