Two days after backers of Chick-fil-A converged on locations around the nation in support, gay rights backers plan to strike back with a decidedly different kind of activism.
Activists are planning a "National Same-Sex Kiss Day at Chick-fil-A" on Friday. As part of the event, couples are encouraged to go one of the chicken restaurant's locations and take a photo or video of themselves kissing.
It remains unclear whether this protest will generate the huge crowds that turned out Wednesday to a show of support for the company's CEO, who ignited a national debate by publicly expressing his opposition to same-sex marriage.
As of Thursday evening, a few people had posted photos on the "Kiss Day" website.
"Let's show Chick-fil-A thanks for their support of Love, Equality, and the Real Definition of Marriage! Invite your friends!" organizers said on its Facebook page.
The move comes after thousands of restaurant supporters came out to back the CEO's stance. In some cases, there were long lines at locations.

I’m all dressed up to go to Chick-Fil-A for lunch with a patriotic shirt and a small American flag. A co-worker explained that today wasn’t “flag” day at CFA. Gee...I feel so silly.

I been trying to preach that since the 2008 disaster. I used to post in 2009 that Republicans need to pick a number of issues that unite them and split Dems to either make them cave or at least weaken them. After a series of those successful battles weakening Dems with public (voters) opinion they can move onto bigger more challenging fights. (That is not to say that there are no risks in cherry picking fights like that though, it has to be done correctly as a progression .)
I see Republicans take too many conservative looking stands (since Boehner took the House) that they dont seem serious about trying to fight and win. It leaves me with the belief that those positions are meant to be symbolic stands to ward off primary challenges to cover up the vREAL BILLS that they are passing that actually goes into law, and those symbolic 'conservative;' bills are not meant by them to ever be law, or even debated with Dems during the general election. So I wonder if they even believe in them.

I know. With all the truly worthy causes needing attention in the world, these perverts are in an uproar to force everyone to support their right to commit nasty perverted disease-prone sex acts. I’ve been posting here for years on and off about my “gay experience”. No, I’m not gay but in high school my best friends father became “confused”. He was a doctor and very well off. Suddenly he was having gay parties at the house. A house his wife also lived in but hers is another story.
The parties were very interesting. I was 16 and these guys hit on me with abandon. I’d keep telling them to leave me alone but they would not. I remember throwing one in the pool after he grabbed me in the wrong spot.
All of the queers (they used that word then and do today) were in some ways odd. The majority were self-loathing and self-dectructive. The flaming fags (again, their word) were the funniest, many of the guys you could not tell were gay and then there were the leather types. I would not mess with the latter because they were mean SOB’s.
My buddy and I would usually hide upstairs in his room during these big gay parties. Mainly because his father did not want me around. Why? Because I’d always do one simple thing and throw the whole place in to an uproar. I’d wait until they were all pretty drunk and I’d ask a group of them “You put that in the back of there then at some point the guy puts that in his mouth right? Most of the time both of you do that so the thing with all you guys is that you like to eat $hit”. The last question would drive them insane! It still does today if you ask this of gay men.
Like I said, my simple little question would always cause an uproar. Why? I knew why because some of these guys were involved with ACT UP! and I had heard them talk to each other. The simple fact is that they did not ever want anyone addressing the core thing and that is what gay men do with each other physically. It is their achilles hill. It is a shot through the heart to them.
When I, a 16 years old kid, asked them how it was that they liked to “eat poop” they did then as they do today, they changed the subject. They would not talk about the “feces issue”. They would rant about “love” and “caring” and all sorts of other emotional stuff.
I like many people don’t care what gays do as long as they don’t mess with me or anyone else. Most people ate that way but today the gay community has gone way overboard with their rabid quest to be seen as “normal”. They have tried to force that on 98.5% of the rest of us and most of us are fed up with them.
My suggestion is to stop turning a blind eye to what gay men do. They eat poop. Bring that up and see what happens. There is no defense when it comes to that. They don’t have one and most Americans are repulsed by such actions. Most are repulsed by seeing gay men kiss and that is why you hardly ever see it on TV. Humans have a natural instinct to see it as not natural.
The gay community is much more aggressive today as they have ever been. You can thank Barack Obama for that because he is a guy that thinks humans eating poop is OK. FYI, I’ve met 100’s of gay men and Obama is not straight. No way!
NOTE: Over the years I have posted a post here on FR like I did above. It would involve the use of words like “feces”. People complained and once I got banned for a bit. If I have offended anyone I apologize. That is not my intention. Frankly, I felt sorry for just about every gay man I ever met. They were just about all somewhat wretched, self-loathing and self-destructive. The ones that want to force themselves on the other 98.5% of the population and MAKE us say they are “normal” are very aggressive and they have been extremely successful in taking what they do to each other physically out of the conversation. They had won that battle as far as I was concerned but recent events have me wondering now. Again, my apologies to anyone my post may have offended.

You’re right we have so many problems in this country and yet we have a small group who base their life on their harmful unhealthy sex life.
Why can;t they just get on with their lives, why not just keep their sex life private?

There are two stands in particular that raised my suspicions to alarm levels.
I don't think they were ever serious about the original Ryan plan, that non-legislative symbolic proposal (house vote) was just meant to ward off primary challenges for the bills they are really passing into law and never meant by them to be seriously debated with Dems.
Either they never meant to win that debate or they are just clueless and inept.
But worse was that Debt limit closed door bill exactly a year ago that they (House Republicans like Ryan) passed with Obama and with the Republicans claiming it was a major success and victory to cut the deficit, yet now a year later they are calling the exact same bill's delayed cuts a doomsday budget and acting like they had NOTHING to do with passing it, trying to delay it another year. This one REALLY IRKS me.
