“These people are nuts.”

These people are already easily-manipulated, (it’s part of their ‘Lifestyle’), and they are being manipulated NOW by the hateful left press, including MSNBC and Daily Kos.

There wouldn’t be food kitchens if it weren’t for Christians. They are the people who run them and who volunteer to work in them.

While the homosexuals are out cruising gay bars, getting their bodies waxed and visiting sex clubs, Christians are providing for their children, volunteering in their communities and helping the less fortunate.

Tell you asinine liberal friend of a friend to come back when 30,000 liberal volunteers show up to help others like Christians did last week in Dallas at Glenn Beck's "Day of Service" in connection with the "Restoring Love" event.

The only time liberals turn out in large groups is to break windows and burn things.

“Who do they think runs those things?”

They think the Gubmint runs them...and maybe they do in some places.

My local shelter is not government affiliated, and has a ‘Jesus Saves’ neon sign cross on top of it.

That friend is a moron. Christians RUN most food banks. What those Christians don't see are liberals helping out. My wife and most of her friends work social services, mental hospitals, etc., and they NEVER see liberals helping out.

That friend is also a moron because if they just took a second to think they would understand that those people buying something are giving others jobs so that they in turn can feed themselves, no food banks needed.

Liberals judge compassion by how many people need food banks: Conservatives judge compassion by how many people don't need food banks.

All but two such missions in my city are run by Christians of some brand or other— or none.

The other two?

Jewish and Muslim.

None of them— not even the Muslim one (which admittedly caters to the Black community, not exclusively) checks religious preference at the door.

Mine is the St. Vincent de Paul soup kitchen, and was built, staffed, and run entirely by church volunteers and church donations.

Most all homeless shelters are Christian run and Christian funded. Probably 95% or better.

I have never seen an atheist homeless shelter.

That graphic is just more evidence that non-Christians (and even some who claim to be Christians) have little idea what Christianity is about. A leftist non-Christian would sum up Christians in this way:

"They are people who claim to live without sin like their leader, Jesus; but they are all just a bunch of judgmental, sinful hypocrites".

Ask your friend where were the liberals the day 30,000 conservatives showed up for Day of Service?

Beck noted this image this morning. On the Blaze website it is contrasted with the 35,000 serving volunteers they had in Dallas last weekend. It is Facebook-ready if you want to engage the twit...

Where does Jesus say to work specifically at “Food Banks” and “Homeless shelters”?

BTW, whats the name of that organization that does this work in almost every major city in America? THE SALVATION ARMY. Is that an ATHEIST organization? Is that a LGBT organization? No. It is a Christian organization.

Christians and Conservatives have proven time and time again to be much more generous than Atheists and Liberals.

I know my one church serves over 1200 take out Thanksgiving meals. Another Catholic Church in town as 450+ sit down meals, another Christian Church does the same.

Now that’s in Oregon.

If we were to take all the Christians who helped to provide (including those who donate turkeys, etc.) others at Thanksgiving — YES — we would have the crowds at CFA Appreciation Day.

Then think about Christmas dinner — our isn’t as big as the Thanksgiving one — but we serve close to 1000 on Christmas. If that is repeated in other churches — go figure.

Christians leave a mark — only God knows.

And how many donate money to organizations like St. Vincent de Paul Society or the Teen Challenge program?

How many Christians went down to Louisianne and Mississippi to help when Katrina hit?

Their arguements along this vein are empty.
