Deja VU.. seems like we were just here not too long ago.
No matter, its time to ploof the pillow, stir the hambone soup and hear the roar of Junior Nation as we watch the field Chase their tails at Pocono.
as the GrateFul Dead used to sing..
What a long strange ride it's been .. or sumthin'.

more on the way,, darn.
I’m watching the Indy Car race on ABC while we’re waiting.
There is a front moving across so today will be very iffy. T-storms will fire from NY to the Miss. Valley.
6 laps to go at Mid Ohio fr Indy Cars. That is a nice track.
Hi folks. Home from church and lunch just in time to see starting of engines. Finally getting to sit and enjoy a race here.
OH MY! We’re Green Flag at Pocono!!!
LIVE LEADERBOARD : Pennsylvania 400 - Pocono

Woo Hoo! We got a Junebug in the lead!!! He can make my day by leading the LAST lap!
Today it be—
got to run some errands , back before the next rain squall. ;-)

Old Man Martin
And it’s a yaller.
Damm Toyo Tars...
Oh Nose... Jr in the garage for a transmission change
I hate when that happens!
When do you expect Flo to marry the Gecko and stop annoying me...
I would expect Flo to marry Oprah and Moosechelle for a 3-way, gay, wide load, progressive wedding day.
JJ wrekked my A-team driver :(
The tide has changed, my stars are aligned, hope fills the air for I gained 4 points on our fearless leader today
You gained 4 points on Zer0???
That was one of the shortest races I’ve ever seen. Glad to see that Jr’s tranny trouble didn’t do too much damage to his points.
LONG POND, Pa. (AP) - Officials at Pocono Raceway say one person is dead and nine are injured after a lightning strike in the parking lot behind the grandstand after a race.
Crazy race. Happy for Jeff Gordon but didn’t see an interview w/J.J. about him causing the crash. My drivers - Earnhardt - transmission. Kenseth - wrecked. K.K. limped home. 3 of my drivers did lead a lap or it woulda been a disaster.
Had the same kind of system that hit Pocono move thru Bend last night. 1800 lightning strikes produced several fires but nothing worse.
I lost Hamlin but at least he collected Kenseth on his way out and the Biff fell asleep. Had I taken Flash he would have crashed. There were 20 fires on highway 96 near Dillon Creek between Orleans and Happy Camp and arson is suspected...
Sorry for slow reply..
I was distracted and then ran my errands and then heard the radio broadcast report the race beings topped for rain, missed the reports shortly thereafter of the lightning and casualties.. Truly A Dark Day at the Track. I was postless since then.
Prayers and Condolences for all the injured and friends and family of the victim.
28 hours later??? Must have been one hell of a shopping trip!!!
The wife’s away and the dog will play.
I told you Hamlin would have an engine failure. I just forgot to mention it would be caused by running into another car caused by J.J. either having a flat tire or going to fast depending upon which driver you believe. Mrs. Happydog said that J.J. undoubtably had a flat tire....
Those two guys that we met on our Premier Sports bus in Sonoma (that had gone to ever track except Sonoma) said that Watkins Glen was a great course - hmmm, wife could do shopping in NY too....
If you believe in such things your potato pic is saying to run McMurray this coming weekend. I think I’ll pass.
Mid 90’s in the high-desert today. Heat wave warnings out for Southern California where Mrs. Happydog is seminaring at the Disney Institute. I’m not worried about her meeting another dog - she already has Goofy at home.
Wife in Anaheim is not a happy camper. She experienced her first (two) earthquakes this morning. First a 4.5, the 2nd 3.4. Centered 7 miles NE of her. Norm, ya let me down.
A couple more shakers and she’ll be ready to move to Eureka. The sun just came out for the first time in 15.3 days...
JJ said he had a tire going down.
Given what happened prior, that’s not hard to believe.
Yes, I read that’s what J.J. said. Kenseth says J.J. was still going full throttle when the 48 slid up into him. It does stand to reason that he had a flat. K.K. also had one during that last caution which, fortunately, didn’t cost him as they called the race.
Ummm, I don’t think so. Earthquakes, no sun & moonbeam as the fearless leader? We may have 6 months of winter here on the high desert but we do have sunshine w/warm temps during the summer. Unfortunately the political leadership is about the same.
