Former Vante CFO Adam Smith struck a nerve when he put up a video of himself bullying a worker at the Chick-fil-A drive-thru window.
There was widespread criticism, and he was promptly fired from his position at Vante for how he acted.
Now, Smith has taken to YouTube again, posting a nearly eight minute video in which he apologizes and clarifies some questions that have been floating around......

He’s suddenly apologetic since he has no anonymity. Can such an individual be respected? There are a good number of FReepers who have unfortunate financial, legal, personal and political situations. Do they behave badly in public and post to Youtube?

Adam Smith may have a masters degree but he doesn't seem to be too smart or much of a forward thinker.
A man with his education should know better than to mess with people who prepare your food out of your sight.Now every fast-food joint and restaurant worker in Tucson knows who he is and what he did to one of theirs.
You can bet that many of them will include a secret present for him with future food orders.

Actually, I was thinking that Chick-Fil-A ought to offer this guy a job (certainly not CFO stuff), and demonstrate some Christian behavior that folks haven’t seen in a long time....the fine art of forgiveness. The media would clamp down on the entire episode within forty-eight hours, and never mention Chick-Fil-A again.
He was given a valuable lesson, I seriously doubt he’s learned anything. That goes for all the others who share this creature’s malignant ideology.
It’s a nice idea, but I’m very much aware that, in general, businesses really worry about disgruntled employees.
They can make a LOT of trouble.

I won’t be watching the apology video, but did he apologize to the group of people waiting for the movie? He tried to drag them into his sordid dealings.

He said in the video that he didn’t have a gay in him. Maybe not but I’m thinking he’s seen one up close.
