Even New York Times Notes History of Harry Reid Viciousness
NewsBusters ^ | August 4, 2012 | P.J. Gladnick

Although Democrat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has been described as "soft-spoken" in the Huffington Post and "honorable" by CNN's Candy Crowley, even many liberals such as Jon Stewart have registered disgust over the wild charges that Reid has been hurling about an "unnamed" source telling him that presidential candidate Mitt Romney hasn't paid his income taxes for  ten years. And now even the New York Times, in an article by Michael D. Shear and Richard A. Oppel, has noted the wild charges that Reid has tossed around in the past:

...Mr. Reid appears to be once again reprising a rhetorical technique he has mastered over 25 years in the Senate: repeatedly needling his Republican adversaries in ways that often push the boundaries of political propriety.

I say the antipathy by Reid is beyond the merely political. It has to be clinical to make such absurd wild attacks.

He’s a creep. It gives me the willies just to listen to him make audible sounds.

I never thought I would say this, but Harry Reid makes Tom Daschle and George Mitchell, both of them diabolic and obstructionists, look good.

Reid is a bitter old POS. Amazing how he just happened to wind up with property holdings adjacent to the new Boulder Dam Bridge. Harry is nothing more than a 2 bit crook. Someday karma will catch up to him.

I agree with you. When the Senate Majority Leader of the U.S. Senate makes bizarre, public statements such as the recent one given below, one starts to suspect there is something organic causing it, either mental or physical.

“Because of the Citizens United decision, Karl Rove and the Republicans are looking forward to a breakfast the day after the election,” Reid told The Huffington Post. “They are going to assemble 17 angry old white men for breakfast, some of them will slobber in their food, some will have scrambled eggs, some will have oatmeal, their teeth are gone. But these 17 angry old white men will say, ‘Hey, we just bought America. Wasn’t so bad. We still have a whole lot of money left.’”

Romney needs to not engage Dingy Harry at all.
This whole episode is an attempt to deflect the conversation from the dismal Obama economy.
Romney should pivot every question toward Obama.

Harry Reid has reduced himself to the teacher spray painting her car and going to the media as proof of racism in America. Well done Harry. You’re word means nothing. Ever.

If people want to really know how vicious Reid is, they should read the biography I wrote on him, it is the only one out there. The high point is his campaign manager from 65 to 75 (who I had worked with on political consulting) picking up bags of cash from pimp Joe Conforte at the Mustang Ranch brothel. No one seems interested enough, or brave enough at the national level to pick up my research. There’s enough corruption there to sink the Bismark.

People here have scoffed Reid for his remarks on Romney’s taxes, suggesting such things as pedophilia, and other slurs; not based on anything, but a mimicry of his attacks on Romney.

What I’d prefer to see is a Internet blitz on his mob connections, using Reid’s own standard of proof against him; that it’s not incumbent on the claimant to prove the facts, but incumbent on the one attacked to disprove them. Yours is exactly the type of material that’s needed to stop these Reid attacks immediately. A little truth goes a long way.

Every Rep Senate candidate should point out that his or her opponent’s first vote, if elected, would be for Harry The Horrible. Every debate should start with that.
Be relentless in tying Dirty Harry around the neck of every Democrat (and Angus King in Maine, who’s posing as an in dependant.)

Until such time as the GOP-e grows a pair of cojones, the Communists will continue their attacks. There is no fear of reprisals or accountability on their part, so why stop?

Romney’s response (if he had a set) would be along the lines of: “Harry, if you ould stop abusing children long enough to pull your head out of 0bambi’s a$$, maybe you’d realize what an absolute putz you are. And, I’ll release my records when your master releases an unforged birth certificate, along with his college records.”

Oh well, I can dream, can’t I?

Evil is always angry. It believes that it may slake it’s anger if it can destroy enough of it’s enemies but this never works and Evil just gets angrier.

Dingy is gonna’ self destruct at somepoint.

Close. It is a successful attempt to preempt any calls for any of Obama's records. If anybody asks for an Obama record, the answer is now, "Well where are Romney's tax records?" Additionally, as pointed out by Rush, if they goad Romney into showing his records, they will pore over them to find something to destroy him with.

I’ve got tons of stuff on Reid, and interviews I haven’t done could break it open. I just haven’t seen any support from anyone national, and trust me I’ve tried. You can’t take down Reid without some big guns (dangerous retribution) and while I have the leads, I can’t move mountains. Very frustrating.

Why couldn’t someone say to Obama and his spokesdemons, “You first, seeing as you’ve already been in the Oval Office for almost 4 years”?

I can understand. We’re not only talking a national figure, but a media protected one as well. Unfortunately, it’s one of the few real way to get his attention. He can easily laugh off all these other little smears, which stem mostly from frustration. After all, they’re baseless and unprovable (even if they were secretly true...)

I know the dad of a federal prosecutor, though I’m not sure he’s still the prosecutor in his district, or if the district still exists. It’s been a couple years since he came and talked to our organization (of which his dad is also a member). And I don’t know his politics, only that Obama retained him in his job after his inauguration. But, even if still in office, it’s his job to go after crime in his district, not take on major, media-laced investigations way outside his purview. I’ll ask him how his son is doing, but that’s not a way to pursue, IMO.
