Yeah, nobody but you is smart enough to figure any of this stuff out huh. /s

What I’d like to ask jokers like you is this. After Dole, Bush, Bush, McCain, and now Romney, just how many decades did you expect Conservatives to wait for a reasoned Conservative candidate before telling the party to F O? Three, four, sixteen? Give me a number.

At this point the earliest chance we have to install a Conservative is January 2017, and we all know that isn’t going to happen unless Romney does lose now.

I happen to expect him to win. That means the next real chance we have is January 2021, and that’s only if Romney doesn’t pull a George Bush on us before then. In that case we’re looking at January 2025 or even 2029 at the earliest. Ain’t that just swell! 36 to 40 fricken years after Reagan.

That’s three and a half to four decades with Leftist Republicans and far Left Democrats holding power.

And here you are dancing to the tune of, “Love me, Love me, One more time...” as sung by the GOPe.

Tell us, do you want this nation back or what? If not, just be up front about it and quit this pretend stuff.

After a second term of Obama there WON’T be a country left to take back. Not to mention the Supreme Court, after Obama puts in a few more judges.

To you and all of the other Romney-haters out there I would like to present a question to you: What if you’re wrong about Mitt? Isn’t there a chance he could surprise you and turn out to be a good president?

Amen. I love your post. I only disagree with one thing. Romney is going to get slaughtered in Nov. The GOP has already given up on PA. Osama has about 245 electoral votes in the bag and Romney is slipping in the swing states every day. McCain looked in better shape this time last time.

I’m already resigned to waiting for 2016.

For all the ranting and raving about Romney being the nominee we must acknowlege that a majority of primary voters or caucus goers, who are more likely to be more politically active, voted for Romney. A keystone of democracy is that the majority prevails - we don't have to agree with the majority but we have to accede to the "wisdom of the people".

In economics there is the concept of sunk costs and most economists agree that those costs cannot be recovered but that the wisest course of action is to maximize the returns from those costs. Do we insure a better return by following a course of action that insures Obama is re-elected or is thrown out of office. I have never be a Romney supporter, but the stakes are much too high to allow Obama to completely destroy our country.

I understand your anger but you have to realize that we have to work within the system. There have been third parties for decades and they will get 2-5% most of the time and spike to 15-20% on occasion. The only way to get there is to methodically remove the RINO’s from office and replace them with conservatives “that is the only way to do it”. The only way to do that is to convince the 51% of the American people that we are right. We can't do that if we just take our ball and go home. Romney wasn't even my second or third choice but he won the damn thing. We need to get Obama out and elect enough conservatives to hold Romneys’ feet to the fire. We are making a lot of progress we have the house and indications are we will get the Senate but we won't have sixty votes. In the end we just need someone in the Presidency who will sign the damn bills. I think Romney will at least do that!!

You, of course, are thinking that there will be another election in 2016. If obama gets re-elected, I look for him to sign an executive order making himself dictator for life.

No more free elections for us! When, will some of you wise up and realize that, even though Romney isn’t what or who we wanted, he is the only chance we have to hold off the total tyranny for this country.

I’d love to have a Conservative candidate, but, they were picked off one by one during the primaries. We’re stuck with who we have.

Some will sit home in November, and whine about not having a conservative to vote for, and will come back on here griping and complaining that zero won again.

I don’t understand why some can’t see that they are helping obama’s re-election campaign. There may or may NOT be a 2016 election if zero wins again. He’d be perfectly happy being ruler over us for life.

Oh, so we’re supposed to bank on your hypothetical conservative knight in shining armor showing up in 2016. We’re supposed to sit on our hands this election and let a Marxist wreck the country for four years, then we’ll fix it all when Mr. Right comes along. Well that’s a real good plan and stuff, but what happens if he doesn’t come along?

Your problem is that you think you’re hard core when you’re not. The hard truth is that a Reagan only comes along every century or so, and in the meantime you slog through with the imperfect hands you’re dealt. Falling short of the ideal is the norm for life on planet Earth. The only reason you even get to an exceptional Reagan type is because you’ve slogged through in between. Slogging through is how you create the conditions for a Reagan. If you think you get a Reagan every time then you’re not living on planet Earth.

You seem to think you’re acting on some higher principle by sitting around demeaning and demoralizing those of us who are getting ready to grit our teeth and slog through again. You’re like a powdered prince riding on our backs. You’ll only get out and pull for the team when we arrive at the next Reagan. You don’t want to get your little feet dirty.
