I am aware that many conservatives, Tea Party, and strict constitutionalists, have deep apprehension about Romney.. That is mostly based on what he actually did as the Governor of Massachusetts from 2003 to 2007.. Past facts, are almost always the very best indicator of the true intent of a future development.. I couldn't agree more..

FACTS: Mitt Romney, is a fine husband and father, and was and is also a successful and an astute businessman, for a much longer period of time, than a one term Governor..

I just now read your post. Romney’s list of actions for abortion are there but the above is for life if it’s
true. His “exceptions” are wrong, a baby is a baby no matter how it is conceived and the child’s life overrides the life of the mother, mothers would agree...so does God.

Whoa, looks like your “POST” button got stuck. But I’m not the one advocating not voting for Romney because he’s not pure enough. If you check my tagline, you can tell I’m in the “Anyone BUT Oblamer” crowd.

You are spot on when you note that a re-elected Obama would be practically unencumbered to push forward his agenda of equally lousy outcomes for “the little people” while practicing “Capital Cronyism”, as I call it, making sure that his buddies and those that worship and support him are well taken care of.

My point was to question people like “no screen name” or whatever the ranter calls himself and their motives. They have been spending half of 2011 and all of 2012 tearing down EVERY Republican candidate to the point where we have not much to choose from. I’ve dealt with people like that and they appear only to be happy when they are unhappy and ecstatic when they have someone to blame it on.

I didn’t like any of our choices this time, but after much prayer and thought I will vote for Romney with a clear conscience. I would have voted for any of our guys in an effort to defeat Obama.

Some of the freepers I like and respect will leave the potus spot blank or write-in someone else. I wish they wouldn’t- but I don’t call their values or convictions into question because of that decision. I’ve learned that even among good people there are strong disagreements about what is more, or most, important. For me, this time, NOTHING is more important than defeating Obama.

Yep- most of my voting life has consisted of voting against someone rather than FOR. The notable exception to that was Reagan. But that’s what it’s like to live in Realville (as Rush would say)!

We should lay blame where it belongs: the two party system. Our country began it's lurch leftward years ago when many of us were still children. The Hard Left and the Rino Right are the result of years of contests where conservatives have been 'uninvited' to the party while others compromised and "reached across the aisle".

What we're seeing today is a Rightward movement as witnessed by sites such as Free Republic and television stations like Fox News. Until now, the media has been dominated by Leftists who don't understand the damage collectivism can have on a country when individual liberty is abandoned in favor of socialism- they just want to be a part of the "in-crowd"-cool and accepted by the 'masses'.

Imagine twenty years ago any candidate openly denigrating capitalism as Obama does today? Or "spreading the wealth around" in such a cavalier way? That person would have been laughed out of the primaries. Well, he's here, and he thinks he's "the one we've been waiting for". Not me, because I don't do "we" anymore- it's bankrupting the country.

More people will be voting against Obama than for Mitt Romney this election. More conservatives will be heading to Congress with the help of people like Sarah Palin, Mark Levin, etc. as the trend is beginning to show. We should take pride in the gains we are making (Scott Walker, etc.) and realize it'll be slow but the inertia is building and has the Left going nuts (Chick-fil-a nuts).

The two party system is like a coin toss- I win, you lose. Obama told us "he won" a while back and has proceeded to rub our faces in it. Well, not this time. I'm hoping he loses this time by epic proportions. A landslide that will set the record straight as to where this country is now headed.

I intend to be in the voting booth come November to be a part of a Slap-Down that is so richly deserved by the radical leftists who willfully ignore our Constitution and laws while at the same time creating dependency among people whose great-grandparents would be ashamed of their progeny's submissiveness.
