I agree - there is something strange about this story.

So far we know that the shooter is Caucasian, in his 40s, formerly lived in Chicago, rented property from a man named Weins in Wisconsin, neighbors say the shooter “broke up” with his girlfriend and moved into another property across the street, also owned by landlord Weins...landlord Weins didn't know the shooter had a girlfriend. Sounds like the shooter was despondent about his relationship, and was out to become a “suicide by cop”, and chose the Sikh gathering in which to play out his demise. He wanted to be dead.

That's it. You know what the left will try to say about OUR right to own and bear arms...what they are going to say about any militia connection to the shooter. No “militia” was involved. The shooter wanted to be dead. It's very unfortunate that there were victims involved in this shooter's plan to kill himself.

What do we do? WE MUST BE VIGILANT AT ALL TIMES..KNOW WHO IS AROUND YOU. Concealed carry is an option. Perhaps large gathering groups should hire armed security..it may be a necessity of the times we live in. In the case of the Sikh group, the shooter would have stood out as not being part of the group, and security's job would have been to look for such people who may be suspect. Any other ideas? Remember, if guns were banned, the bad guys would still be well armed. WE had better make sure we are as well.

As for the early reports on the presumed age of the killer, he might simply have had the physical appearance of a younger person. Maybe witnesses thought he was younger based on the way he was dressed, etc. Some people at 40 can pass for 29, while others might look 80. I know a woman who, in her 70's, could've passed for 50-something.

Don't know about that, but from what the govt. has dug up about his white supremacist connections, he is a white supremacist. And now he is a man who chose suicide by cop, who was despondent over his breakup and his moving out from the apartment he shared with his girlfriend MISTY, a student at the University of Wisconsin/Milwaukee, and her autistic son. They had previously lived together on the south side of Milwaukee before moving to Oak Creek, WI a few weeks ago, according to the mother of the shooter's landlord by the name of Weins.

This is the latest update from every source found on Google, interviews, the newspapers, and from the police. Google it to confirm.

What I am observing is that Holder’s DOJ and the Dept. of Homeland inSecurity has been infiltrating and spying on white supremists. They are the left’s boogiemen; the groups named domestic terrorists. They have lost cases in court trying to set up hillbillies they infiltrated.

We do have our subtle equivalent of the 'big man' convoy, and although for political purposes it must be somewhat better behaved, the actions of the Swimmer behind the wheel were neither the first nor last such behaviours with an automobile by higher government officials here. Unless politically expedient or lethal (and sometimes even then) few incidents ever see the light of day.

That said, the assessment of the 'big man' convoy's effect of intimidation of the masses is spot-on.

We have a more subtle and less openly violent modus operandi in our government, whether it be the guys with 17-inch necks in dark glasses and identical suits speaking into their sleeves and riding in black suburbans with well-tinted windows, or the more open presence of uniformed escorts, the message is the same. That helicopter (drone?) overhead and the boots (or shiny black cop shoes) on the ground are designed to reek of unapproachable power, and the syncophantic select are 'blessed' with the opportunity to approach the powerful for a two second photo-op audience.

The same psychology is at play in either case, just the one is more decadently and openly violent, perhaps because the people either do not possess the means to keep it less so, or because they do not demand more civility from their leaders and are not in a position to do so.

Instead of leading away from such behaviour, we appear to be sliding toward it.
