Interesting. I find the show really entertaining. It is pretty much my social life.
Husband is a materials scientist, his friends are all scientists of different sorts.
I think it's great having a show with hyper or urber intelligent people just trying to get by.

I have had DSL one meg service for two years and it’s great! Had dial-up since 95. I think you should give me some of that bandwith, you don’t need all that! sarc/off

Comcast is the only one who can provide us with cable, so I make do with the networks with an antenna. There are some good travel shows - that’s all, but I don’t watch any news shows. Funny, I don’t even miss cable.

BBT is easily our favorite show for our family and that of two more of friends. We are those nerds. We get all the comic, sci-fi, etc references. Heck, my husband even has his own whiteboard. His dream vacation is comic-con. We have the multiple degrees and stayed up late last night making sure that Odyssey arrived safely on the ground. We even thought of Howard at JPL.

Well, it explains why idiot Ellen Barkin came out from under her rock and started shooting her liberal mouth off a couple weeks ago. She was just out drumming up publicity. (I’ve been seeing the previews for that insipid show during the Olympics).

They have been running ads for a new show called Revolution. Looks like a post EMP scenario. Could be a good show but I don’t trust NBC. Anyone know anything about the show?

J.J. Abrams produces the EMP show. Looks a lot like Jericho from a few years back. Which was good.

I believe this was also reported on TMZ and elsewhere (sorry about giving them a click, but just posting this to back up my statement and respond to your questions):

At least the agenda is clear right away, unlike with Glee, which hooked people on to the show, before the gay agenda came out.

Looks like a Hunger Games rip-off.

How about something different, say a sitcom or drama about a hetrosexual couple and children who are not gay or drug addicted.
