In response to George Zimmerman's legal defense team calling for a motion on a "Stand Your Ground" hearing, Trayvon Martin family attorney Benjamin Crump released the following statement:
"Let it be clear on the record, that we feel confident that the unjustified killing of Trayvon Benjamin Martin should and will be decided by a jury.
Many of the legal architects of the Stand Your Ground law have already opined that it does not apply in this case.
A grown man cannot profile and pursue an unarmed child, shoot him in the heart, and then claim stand your ground. We believe that the killer’s motion will be denied during the Stand Your Ground Hearing, and as justice requires a jury will ultimately decide the fate of a man that killed an innocent child.
There is only one version of this story that represents that Zimmerman was attacked by Trayvon Martin, and that’s Zimmerman’s self-serving version. Everyone will agree that the killer’s credibility is clearly questionable.
Trayvon’s parents do not feel that this is a man that feared for his life the night he shot and killed their child, this is a man whose only fear is spending his life in prison."
And Mr. Crump is correct, Zimmerman is afraid of spending the rest of his life in prison. Stay tuned for more details as they become available.

Seems a bit contradictory to me.
Seems to me, from the evidence presented, it was the “child” that doubled back and pursued Zimmerman. Subsequent head-bashing events also showed an intent to kill or cause grave bodily harm.
Nice try, though, to manipulate the facts.
If we post that someone is a, “Nigga” here we’ll be put in time out by some moderator.
If poor wittle Twayvon was feeling threatened, why didn’t he go directly to the place he was staying where he would have been safe from that mean, nasty, white, black, hispanic, racist gun slinger?

I think that the end of this case is almost here, considering that the prosecutor dumped all the most damaging information that he had about Zimmerman on the press, including photos of martin’s body. The prosecutor would not have done this if there was a chance of the case going to trial.

Let’s just say that “justice” and the “America justice system” are not synonymous. There are too many factors that can place an innocent person in prison. Consider the ignorance, incompetence and bias of these many moving parts: prosecutor, defense attorney, judge, jury, media, celebrities and government officials. Case in point: did our justice system work for Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman?
Please add “corruption” to: ignorance, incompetence and bias.
I would like to see the media begin to focus on the Black on Black crime in the inner cities. Of course that isn't really news it is just "life in the Hood"

First off, Ben Crump can barely speak for crying out loud, sorry but it gets on my nerves.
He lies when he says George pursued and murdered a child.
I am sorry that Trayvon lost his life, very sad, but I believe George.
