The only VP announcement coming from Romney that would excite me about his so-called campaign would be for him to say that HE will be the VP with Palin or Santorum at the top of the ticket.

Oh yeah, when Kolob freezes over.

Ryan is a STUPID VP pick. He needs to be budget director or ways & means chairman.

He looks 20 years old. NOT presidential. Not an attack dog.

McDonnell is the only smart choice. Looking like he is the pick. Announcement in Virginia.

Dang..you beat me to it! (Or maybe great minds thinking alike).

A Saturday morning announcement makes no sense.

I really thought he would wait until the Olympics were over as well.

Greta Van Susteran tweeted that Secret Service was seen going to Ryan’s home, but than she deleted the tweet..I’d bet good money(If I was a betting person) that Ryan is the VP pick

Eric was in KC today at an event for Lynn Jenkins. He told us he would be campaigning on Saturday with Mitt back home in VA. My guess was originally Ryan. But then why VA. Cantor is a very dynamic guy, very smart able guy.

Even if romney loses, which he is doing—

How is he losing?? Rasmussen has Romney up by 4 the past 2 days. Even the over sampled Democrat registered voter polls don't look that good for 0.

The media knows Obama is in trouble, that's why they're manufacturing a fake lead.

While Rubio would be a great conservative choice and may guarantee Florida, the media would portray the choice as pandering. Portman would also be a good choice providing substantial policy credentials and tip Ohio. Romney’s team is meticulous, while they may have wanted to milk the VP announcement until after the Olympics they also want to stop any slip their internal polling may be showing from Obama’s negative ads from what was a probably safe lead. Ryan will be seen as a fairly brave choice - principled as it goes to the ultimate issues regarding the economy and budget, not some particular voting bloc or state. Romney would only make this choice if he also knows it is a safe choice - he can afford to forego the particular bloc/state.

MY Guess- a person not on the radar: Ohio Gov. John Kasich.

He’s a smarter pick than Ryan because John actually balanced a baudget.

Sarah Palin was announce Saturday Morning in 2008, was a HUGE story.

BTW reports of a small plane landing at a private Virginia airport just after midnight causing speculation. The plane carrying a very good looking woman and 2 teenage children, the 3 were picked up in a black SUV with govt plates.

The plane`s flight plan shows that it came from Alaska

I am going to say it will be Allen West

SHOULD be - but won't be.The Establishemant is already doing everything they can to get him even out of Congress.

The Establishment's great achievement has always been to shoot itself in the foot.

With West on the ticket, we'd pick enough votes for a landslide.

But Col. West loves America, knows and loves the Constitution, knows who are enemy is and will go after them, knows our country's history backward and forward and will rebuilt the US - oh, and he rides a motorcycle.

They are as afraid of Col. WEst as the Rats are...he would end the status quo...

romney is losing every poll. Even fox — he is down 9. He is losing Florida, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia. Because he has no message. He is a bad candidate. He is a rino and the Tea Party hates him . The Tea Party rules. Look at what the Tea Party did in Texas with Senator Cruz? He is desperate and that is why he has chosen Ryan. But the Tea Party wants to hear romney on abortion and globalism and taxes and welfare and etc. Instead he hides in the ditch. I tell you , he is history in a book ,like Mc Amnesty and Dole if he doesn’t come out on these issues. No more Iraqs!! No more baby killing and weak Supreme Court nominees like roberts!! And veto spending bills — not like bush !!
