“Romney will announce his choice for Vice President in Norfolk, Virginia at 8:45am EST,” Romney campaign spokesman Lenny Alcivar told reporters in an email this evening.
The announcement is being made at the USS Wisconsin. It’s still unclear whom he will choose, but the odds that it is Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., seemed to increase when National Review’s Robert Costa noted that a charter plane flew from Boston to Ryan’s hometown of Janesville, Wis., today.

It wouldn't make any sense for Romney to hold this event in Wisconsin and choose someone from another State. It's got to be Ryan.

The "Do-Nothing" Democrats refused to pass a budget in the Senate because they were afraid that going on the record with ANYTHING would provide ammunition to be used against them.
So, when Republicans took the House and tried to pass a serious budget resolution, it was the only plan on the table. The Democrats, instead of offering a plan of their own, used the Ryan plan as a bludgeon against Republicans.
Ryan's "problem" was to think that today's Congress was really supposed to do something. What Romney has to do now is ignore the Democrat attack ads and counter them with serious policy discussion backed up with serious plans, and then make the MSM compare the lack of seriousness of Obama with the seriousness of Romney-Ryan.

Anyone staying home will have to look at themselves in the mirror when Hussein makes his next SCOTUS appt, they will have to look at themselves in the mirror when the second amendment falls away, they will have to look at themselves in the mirror when the country goes bankrupt and they will have to wonder why they stayed home when the recommend to their kids that they become ex-pats.
He will attract women and youth votes, he is good looking.

Take a good look at the Governor's recall election, and the reasonably small Obama margin, and I do think it can be picked up. Of course it's a little different when you have someone that doesn't have a statewide office, but it's pretty disastrous for Obama if he loses Wisconsin.
