Thought we needed this.
>>Kid Rock is a cool conservative rock star
It’s cool to desecrate the flag by wearing it, is it numb nuts?
You come on a celebratory thread about Paul Ryan with disparaging remarks and insults. ....LOL and you talk about FAIL...LOL
Dunno. Post it ten more times.
"The [my] only connection [to the Republican Party]is I'm registered as a Republican"--Mitt RRRRRomney
Initials R/R! Rolls Royce!!! What a team!
The event was in Wisconsin. A vote for Virgil Goode is a vote for SUPREME COURT JUSTICE ERIC HOLDER.

ABC Wraps Ryan in Conservative Tags; No Liberal Labels for Joe Biden in 2008
Ryan, ABCs team accurately pointed out, is as fill-in co-host David Muir put it, a favorite among conservatives; a candidate who rallies the conservative base, as George Stephanopoulos later opined.
According to the American Conservative Union, Ryan has a solid 91.69 conservative rating (100% being a perfect conservative score).
But Biden in 2008 had a nearly mirror-opposite ACU score of 12.67%, yet ABC avoided using the liberal tag when he was chosen.
Instead, he was touted as a voice of experience and foreign policy expertise. As then-co-host Bill Weir set up the August 23, 2008 show:
BILL WEIR: This morning, experience trumps change. Barack Obama taps a senate veteran to be his number two. Why Joe Biden as a running mate, And can his foreign policy clout help the Democrats win the White House?
This morning, ABC fixated on Ryans ideology, and his controversial plan to cut the budget. Unstated: how Ryans supposedly brutal budget includes continued growth in federal spending (the cuts are only in the projected rate of growth, not in the programs themselves), and how even his supposedly stern approach would not reach a balanced budget for years.
Here are the relevant excerpts of the August 11 Good Morning America, with the conservative labels in all-caps to make them easier to see:
DAVID MUIR: Theyre going bold, no question about it. Mitt Romney, choosing Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan, of course, to be his running mate. We understand that Romney has called some of the other contenders on that short list to notify them that they have not been picked. Paul Ryan, of course, a favorite among CONSERVATIVES....
JON KARL (on the telephone): Hes also somebody who has become a hero to CONSERVATIVES because more than any other Republican in congress, he has driven the Republican agenda to focus on the issue of getting the governments budget back in order. Dealing with the fiscal crisis. And you mentioned it, Bianna, that proposal on Medicare is the centerpiece of his plan. And, boy, is it controversial....

My 2 cents:
OUR ENEMIES, IN GOVT & MEDIA, WERE ALWAYS AND ARE ALWAYS GOING TO DEMONIZE WHOMEVER THE VEEP CHOICE WAS AND ALL OF OUR SIDE.
AND THEIR GOAL IS TO LIE, OBFUSCATE, DEFLECT, AND DIVERT TO TRY TO DEMORALIZE AND WEAKEN US AND OUR RESOLVE. ARE WE NOT YET ONTO THEIR GAME .. AFTER ALL THESE YEARS OF ALL THESE LYING LIB CRETINS??
WE FIGHT ON!
No, it doesn’t. The incumbent didn’t win due to 40 voters sitting out. He won because people voted for him.
Here’s hoping that Americans are onto the scare tactics coming from the Chicago machine. The wheelchair ad was the last straw for most people. There will always be dumb ass Americans but if scare tactics is all Oblame-a’s got, he’s in big trouble because most people are fed up with being played.
No, I won’t be voting for a socialist. If you wish to by all means feel free.
Rock Star - Kid Rock
(a/k/a Robert James Ritchie)
Kid Rock was arrested on a misdemeanor assault charge in February 2005, in Nashville, after getting into an altercation at Christie's Cabaret. He got into a fight with the strip club's DJ over his choice of music. Kid Rock pleaded no contest to criminal assault and was given a suspended sentence of 11 months and 29 days in jail. The DJ, Jay Campos, who suffered a mark on his face and a pair of broken glasses, is suing Kid Rock for $575,000.
Pretty much sums up the "consvervatism" of the Myth campaign though. P H O N E Y.
We know that Obama is out to destroy Christianity. No matter what Ryan is way better than Obama. The choice is clear cut.
Ryan is socially conservative. The Church is not.

Paul Ryan: The Esquire Interview
The presumptive vice-presidential candidate spoke out last October on America’s fight over taxes, the national debt, the federal budget, and what kind of people we will be to the point, the Wisconsin congressman said, that “the country is going to be won or lost in two to five years”

Does America REALLY want to add a 'gender card' to the 'race card' we already have in the White House? I'm thinkin' HELL NO!
By “our” side having control of scotus appointments surely you’re referring to stellar former picks like Oconnor, Souter, and Roberts?
Did you remind your friends that their Messiah Obama is FORCING the Catholic Church to embrace abortion and that the church is also SUING their boy wonder for assaulting their religious freedom? With a Catholic/Christian hater in the WH, how could anyone criticize Ryan for not being a ‘good Catholic’ and do it with a straight face?
Forgot (former Justice) John Paul Stevens and Kennedy.
Two northerners but I like Ryan a lot.
and he might bring Wisconsin by a nose which would help.
I reckon they know what they have locked up...the Old South mostly and the usual mountain west and most and the Plains.
Ryan can sure debate and does so with better projection than Polo Ad
at least it wasn’t a two man RINO and Ryan in line for POTUS nominee down the road looks nice
Now you know why willard picked Ryan: Virgil Goode. Also why the announcement was made in VA. Willard no doubt wanted some lib squish that wouldn’t take some of the limelight. But reality was about to bite him in the posterior. Hard.
Kudos to willard, I think he made the best choice amongst those available. I still won’t vote for willard but this is a good step towards quieting his more vocal conservative critics.
An Doug are assuming the VP would have zero influence on the President in discussions about such matters.
As for myself, I have yet to vote for the perfect politician in 40 years of casting votes.
In 2012, the choice has now come into undeniable focus, and it is time to choose for us and our posterity.
Sorry, ritchie rich and the guy that wants to close mediacare, thats what they will be seen as. Sorry to rain on the parade.
Yes, and in the real world, I put my principles first.
And you “it’s all about abortion” people have screwed us more than once with your support for anyone as long as they’re strongly pro-life, but turn out to be duds. Look at Roberts sitting on the Supreme Court. There wasn’t much known about him or what he’d do on many issues but we heard how pro-life he was and wowsa that got all the rock conservatives who put abortion first as an issue all excited. Now look. We have Obamacare thanks to Roberts; a program that includes tax payer funded birth control and abortion for any age and up to third trimester.
I’m not saying you shouldn’t have it as an important issue, but it can’t be the only thing you see when looking at a candidate.
Living our principles includes taking responsibility for their results.
Allowing or furthering or doing nothing to stop this regime’s power does not give one the high ground morally or on principles.
The primary mission of this election, on principle, is stopping this marxist fascist regime.
In other words; you will never participate in politics on anything other than a local level.
No personal attack against you; just stating reality.
That is an excellent solution to my shock and awe, I shall simply remain shocked and awed.
I love it!
Happy Paul Ryan Day, NoGrayZone!
I hope so, TomGuy, for the sake of America and all that is Good, I hope so.
America needs a Champion of Freedom in order to prevail, and she may now have exactly that.
I really feel good, Tom, really, really good :)
Amen, mojitojoe, Amen!
“Hillary replacing Biden?”
“I could see that, too. Biden is more like Goofy than an attack dog. And as Secretary of State, choosing her would play into the meme the Dems are already trying to generate, that Ryan has no foreign policy experience.”
Hillary has no foreign policy experience either. She is just an extension of Obama’s foreign policy disaster.
Being a lap dog for a failed President with a failed foreign policy agenda doesn’t elevate her experience on the job. It just shows Hillary’s incompetence.
Hey there! So good to see you! I have missed your succinct and moving writing style! Please keep me posted today. Headed out to the ranch to watch the meteor shower tonight!
LET FREEDOM RING!!!
With Romney-Ryan you get change back.
Same to you chris37!!!! Wooohoooo!!!!!
On your principles, maybe. Mitt is a socialist, so he would lead us down a path just as wrong, and with the support of conservatives to boot.
I actually WAS right about the fraud in Racine and Madison. Walker did better upstate which offset it.
>>”Mitt is a socialist..”
What is revealing is that you have to so distort Romney in order to justify your actions.
This is not indicative of high principles either.
Not at all. I voted for McCain last time and refuse to go down the hold-your-nose-vote path again. Politics doesn’t have to equal compromise and moderate candidates, even in a presidential race. I don’t vote for Johnny Isakson for the same reasons. Stand up guy - met him a few times, but he’s a reach across the aisle type, so I don’t support him.
Religious freedom, freedom of speech...
You like Children's Hospitals? They're Catholic.
I've been busy.
“On your principles, maybe. Mitt is a socialist, so he would lead us down a path just as wrong, and with the support of conservatives to boot.”
I hope you are enjoying your principles and the freedom to exercise that right. Word of caution though, if Obama is reelected, your principles won’t amount to much and you certainly won’t have the right to follow them as your conscience dictates.
I think it is pretty obvious how much of our rights have been eroded under this marxist. When he has free reign, it will become much worse.
I am not trying to be an alarmist. Paul Ryan will spell out the REAL threat to our country. We are sitting on a financial time bomb and when we go “mad max”, principles, theories and ideologies aren’t going to mean much.
I hope you are, at least, working for candidates on the Congressional level to help save this Country. We are in trouble and we all need to rise above our little niches in life and save what is left of our Country.
Then stand by your principles. And should Obama win in November, and you failed to do anything to prevent it, come back and tell us how wonderful it made you feel to be so proud of your principles. And I'll tell you exactly what I think of principled a$$es.
You, and a few others on this forum, are the dumbest, most useless people I've ever had the misfortune to run in to.
Denigrating the U.S. Military on the Free Republic.
Long before the primaries I was talking with my brother-in-law and he said he picked Romney for President. I went Yuk! He said who would you pick and I said PAUL RYAN. He said he isn't even known. Well NOW he will be. After Romney's Presidency we will have PAUL RYAN for President.
You too, Pen! Glad you’re here! Have fun .. WE FIGHT ON!
Romney Raises $1.2 Million in Three Hours Since of Picking Paul Ryan
Posted by Jim Hoft on Saturday, August 11, 2012, 12:27 PM
The Romney Campaign raised over $1.2 million in three-plus hours after announcing running mate Paul Ryan.
Ryan is of my generation. Our first political memories were of Carter’s malaise and then true hope when Reagan took office (we were too young to vote for him).
I’m fired up for this fight to throw the Marxists out more than ever.
Me too - NYC GenXr for Ryan!
I guess he made a good choice, yes? :)
Ping for later viewing.
Hey, we older women think Paul Ryan is pretty cute too! At last we have hope for our children and grandchildren! Yesterday my husband said we needed to make another contribution to the Romney campaign. I said we have to wait a while, little knowing it was going to be today.
Just saw Romey and Ryan in Ashland VA—Romney slamming Obama’s campaign for their sleazy tactics, This team is dynamite.
