In terms of Romneycare, there were only two choices so far as the Vice-President was concerned: someone who loved it or someone who hated it. We got the latter. Would it have been better if we’d gotten the former?

It really doesn’t matter, this presidential election is simply long since lost and taking the same failed action as 08 is sue to have the same result.

I think its kind of funny. Rick Michigan says Mitt will win then makes a hard left and rushes ahead with as much spending as he can muster. Its almost as if he fully expects the spending to continue.

Ricky S isn't worth a bucket of spit.

Paul Ryan is as fine a choice as Scott Walker.

It signals a serious intent to deal with things rather than business as usual in the spending department.

Considering what we have in the Bambi administration, Ricky might have his hands out, but if we remove the trough, Ricky will have his hands cut off.

That's an image I can live with.

agreed.
This will shore up libertarians really, some of them on here , the Ron Paul voters, maybe get some who will be socially conservativea nd fiscal.

Question is will it get VA and FL which we need for sure.

What this pick tells me is that they think the south will go republican regardless and to hell and all what counts is the debt.

In the end the debate between Ryan abd Biden means nothing, totally nothing,.
People vote for their first guy and go with what they feels safe.

I know I don;t trust Romney as far as I can throw him

You need to understand. This is from a typical union hack from under the bridge. Known as a “troll” Or “Flatlander” by the humans living above the bridge.

“Paul Ryan is as fine a choice as Scott Walker.”

With all due respect, Ryan can’t hold a candle to Walker.

Ryan is an “all talk, little action” guy with a pretty face. He has good ideas, but what trials has he faced that have demonstrated the strength of his convictions before adversity?

Walker, on the other hand, is soft-spoken and reserved, yet has demonstrated more courage and grace under pressure than ANY other contemporary Republican. He has stuck to his principles, even in the face of despicable attacks upon his family — and won.

It’s Walker who should be at the -top- of the Republican ticket. But that’s for another time.

Having written this, I have no complaints about Romney’s choice.
Ryan will do “good enough” as the veep candidate.
I’ll vote for him.

Walker is a chief executive. Ryan is one guy among 435.

I think you overestimate the power of single member of Congress.
