Sarah Palin says that Paul Ryan is sure to be vetted and scrutinized, but that she among others has his back and will call out the media for their lies and distortions. She goes on to say that when she was thrust in that spotlight that she didn’t have a lot of support from people in the McCain campaign to defender her and explain what her record was all about because they were protecting their own future interests. But she says that we won’t let that happen to Paul Ryan:

My principles go with me through eternity. Trust me - my principle with God 1st doesn’t lead me to destruction but LIFE.

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to DESTRUCTION, and MANY enter through it.

“But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to LIFE, and only a FEW find it.”

Seems like those who accuse others of destruction here get destruction for eternity. Something for you to chew on. Hopefully the hard TRUTH won’t break your teeth!

“There will be weeping there, and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown out.” Luke 13;28.

Christians know about persecution because God’s Word tell us. Where there is knowledge, there is NO FEAR.

But you wouldn’t know anything about that - having no fear.

There was NO ONE. I was waiting for it and, actually, was expecting it - until the light bulb went on! It has never gone off - now I shine the light brightly on Romney’s darkness!

but I am really troubled by the prospect of asking God to do something that my conscience will not allow me to participate in.

You are troubled by it? Then you can't know God/HIS WORD. Before you attempt to mock Christians - learn first what God says! Some are hell bent at being arrogant while being clueless. I believe it is that mittbotulism that is going around.

Just as an aside, under our system, in the general election we do not vote for an individual to be president, we vote for a slate of electors who then vote for a person to be president. Possibly that is a sufficient degree of separation for those who need it.

So you are another arrogant fool! Telling JIM what the general election is all about. Amazing! Next time STOP and think!

Nobody “prevented” Sarah Palin from joining the primary circus.

She exercised her God-given right to decide for herself what the future course of her life would be. I’m sure she thought long and hard about it, and she made her decision.

I was disappointed, but I don’t blame anyone for this, least of all Sarah.

Looking on the bright side, his vote, or rather, lack of vote, won’t be worth a hill of beans in California anyway.

I have always admired Sarah Palin, unlike some who melted down when she made her decision, I've kept that admiration.

If you haven't noticed, she's put her full support behind the R & R ticket, she knows the stakes for this election. She virtually invented the ABO cry early in the nomination process, and yes she has exposed evil all her political life.

Hi presently no screen name. You are an insane person. You're posts are incoherent, deranged gibberish. You desperately need psychiatric help. I hope you get it, but in the meantime I thought we had an understanding that you'd never post to me again.

Oh, here is Palin's congratulations statement on the choice of Paul Ryan:

http://www.facebook.com/sarahpalin/posts/10151109537628588

And her conclusion:

Please continue to focus on the presidential race and on helping Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan, but it’s also imperative that we get involved in the nation’s important House and Senate races. These candidates need our help to ensure that our next president has a responsible and ethical Congress that actually gets things done for America. Now on to November!

Looks pretty clear that she is asking people to focus on helping Romney/Ryan AND the down ballot House and Senate races.

>>God can only use the ‘useable’ - Bishop romney is not<<

Pretty presumptuous of you to put that limit on God.
God can do anything He wants.

I just saw that!! Wow!
I’m amazed how easily some FReepers forget that one of the seven deadly sins is Pride.

Proverbs 16:18 “Pride goeth before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.”

Haughty is happily dancing though FR nowadays.

I appreciate your comments and am sorry I was not able to reply earlier. Just a couple of points if you don’t mind:

First - When I indicated perplexity at what I considered a logical inconsistency, I did not mock Christianity nor any individual. I fully understand Mr. Robinson’s stand and, while I might disagree, I respect his right to follow and defend that path. Also, I believe through the years he has demonstrated sufficient strength of character to both handle dissent and deflect pandering. I would never attack him or anyone else on a personal basis nor would I insult him with false flattery.

Second - Especially in political discussions a wide variety of debating styles are used, including my least favorite, the Ad Hominem. I may indeed be an arrogant fool as you assert but that just addresses my character, not my contention.

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to clarify my position. This is going to be a long and heated campaign but that is the history of our country.

Can anyone recall if any politicians said he would have Palin’s back four years ago when she was selected by McCain?

It's likely that's a rhetorical question. But, if not:

Do you mean such as the previous Republican (successful) candidate for VP, Dick Cheney? Don't remember that happening.

It's not a limit but it's Who HE is. He does NOT interfere with our will. Otherwise, everyone would be saved!!

God can do anything He wants.

Wrong. There are things he can not do - LIKE LIE!

Please - get a clue already - Mitt Romney is way too complicated for God to figure out. Totally unusable.

I shouldn't need what follows, but then again, I should have never read something as stupid as the original post...so - /sarcasm

I agree! I would never go down to his level, he has to come up to mine and then apologize to Newt for ALL the lies he spoke about him and all of VA for interfering w/their election with keeping Newt off the ballot during the primaries.
