Why should Romney even participate in these ‘debates’?

He shouldn't participate.

If FOX put on a debate with Hannity, Coulter, and Limbaugh as moderators - does anyone think Obama would show up? Our guys needs to get real - the press works for Democrats - they get 'paid' with inside stories and people of interest to interview. When the coin of the realm is information - it's a bribe...

Liberals in the press can announce anyone they want to moderate debates. That’s their call - not ours.

Our call is if we want to accept their invitation to show up - and my answer is “NO, we don’t want to debate under those circumstances’. Then we ask them to a debate moderated by Limbaugh, Coulter, and Hannity. And let them turn us down.

I’m not expecting liberals to understand what biased bullies they are - or the press to understand they function as whores for democrats... but at least it’s a start.

A lot depends on the questions they are asked. And with the moderator chosen, it will probably go something like this:

For Mr. Biden: You obviously have all the qualities to be the perfect vice-president. Please tell us which of those qualities is lacking in your opponent.

For Mr. Ryan: When did you first decide to destroy social security?

Actually, a Fox-moderated debate isn’t much better, IMO. During the primaries, I remember reading about Chris Wallace and Megyn Kelly huddling before a Fox debate, trying to decide how to trip up Rick Perry and help out Romney.

I want to see Mark Levin and Rush Limbaugh moderate a debate, but of course I know that’s as likely to happen as a pink unicorn with glitter on its wings setting down in my backyard.

The premise that only left-wing ‘news’ people are legitimate moderators is the problem and the Romney-Ryan campaign shouldn’t just roll over for it.

But they have rolled over for it, just as McCain did so noticeably in 2008. Why? The question really should be answered. Why does the Republican Party capitulate repeatedly in this important matter of who asks the questions. The habitual recurrence of this situation defies reason. At least for me.

It would have been so much more interesting if the moderators were international journalists from one of our allies, and not affiliated in any way with ABC/CBS/NBC/CNN/PBS! Imagine if we had BBC, or Canadian, or Australian or even better, Israeli moderators! Too bad there aren’t “neutral” moderators in the real world. Looks like the dems continue to stack the deck in their favor...sigh!:(
