The "TEA Party" is free to organize itself and conduct a convention at which it can propose its own candidate for the Presidency.

The reason I don't see this happening is because most TEA Partiers recognize that if they can't convince a majority of Republicans to their way of thinking, then there is little chance that they will be able to convince a majority of Americans to adopt their principles.

Whichever party wins, there are going to be great changes in our future and great suffering. It will be helpful during the difficult times ahead if we manage to avoid having a Supreme Court which rules that people have a "right" to Social Security, or a "right" to publicly financed healthcare, or a "right" to publicly financed contraceptives.

We won't avoid that if Obama wins. The suffering will be compounded and last generations if the Supreme Court basically orders the government to raise taxes and print money.

I see no fiscal miracle wherein Romney/Ryan or any alternative candidates solve America's problems in a single term or two terms. There is no way to solve the problem of having committed 100 trillion dollars of future taxes for spending on unConstitutional entitlement programs. Whoever is your ideal candidate, there is no way that such a candidate would be able to accomplish very much.

The reality is that we can't pay for what has been committed whether the economy grows or not, whether taxes are raised, lowered, or remain the same, and whether the Federal Reserve prints boxcars full of cash or not.

Maybe it is because Romney’s words don’t match his acts. In cases like that, I look at what people have done, not what they are saying.

Romney has spent the past two presidential election cycles lying about Reagan. He has said that Reagan was pro-choice like him, which is a lie. Reagan signed a law that was less pro-life than before but it never came close to stating a woman had a right to murder her child as Romney did. That difference did not serve Romney’s cause so he ignored it, preferring to assassinate Reagan’s character and memory than tell the truth. Of course Reagan was no longer around to defend himself which was all the better for Romney. He could pretend without anyone confronting him.

Reagan’s remorse was obvious and immediate when he saw what the dems did to the abortion law allowing for the health of the mother. With Romney’s so called conversion, he believes that human embryos should still be used in experimentation and abortions are ok as long as they are a part of Romneycare or the if individual state says it is ok to murder the innocent. Romney says he is pro-life but to this very day he continues to extol Romneycare which provides $50.00 and free abortions. No remorse. No I’m sorry I ever signed that. Nothing but how much he believes it is the conservative answer to healthcare.

So, you tell me, which should we believe, the words of a pathological liar or his actions which prove him to be a liar.

Exactly. And then what? We conservatives have them exactly where we want them.Down and OUT for good.

We end them at the ballot box or on the streets. Makes little difference to me at this point.

As a matter of fact , this social evolution is inescapable, and so lets get on with it.Let the progressives of the GOP and the Liberal fascists of the Dem party do their worst. They will anyway, no matter who is elected, Romney or Obama.

We conservatives must remain and continue to organize to take our country back. That does not mean accepting Mitt Romney as a presidential candidate, which leads entirely away from what the Tea Party represents.Sarah Palin , as it turns out, is as bad as all the rest. She heard her nations call, and turned us down.

So here we are, going into November, and on our own without any viable conservative representation on the presidential ticket. And we have the bastids of the GOP and the DP right where we want them: over extended, Utopian, and ready to FAIL. The People will not stand much of it any longer, whether its from Obama or Romney.

The Tea Party will save our nation, all we have to do is remain organized, and be ready to represent Americans and enforce the constitution, because its as sure as hell that no one else will.
