Just a warning to military absentee voters. Don't return your ballots back here by friendmail ( the next person going back to the states or your local area ). In the 2000 election Dems challenged any absentee ballot that had a postmark that didn't match the APO/FPO and got away with it. I've heard nothing was done to change that since then.

“Go in person and vote or fill out ballot and have someone deliver it before polls close.”

What you are suggesting is impossible in a combat zone.

This is not an accident.

Political mail gets tagged as super priority at the post office for various constitutional issues. (freedom of speech voting etc)

I agree with this poster comment:

‘The people in Florida who wanted an absentee ballot should have received one in a timely fashion, but when it comes to your making your vote count, you don’t leave it up to the election workers. You get your ass to the polls and vote.”

“If the race is close enough to need to count the provisionals, the people can come in with proof that they’re eligible and their vote will be counted.”

Thanks for the info, I didn’t know that. So the post office ignored it’s own policy. That’s lousy, heads should roll.

It doesn’t. They’re at the mercy of the leftist who always manage to conveniently’ screw up.

That’s the post office fault but more than likely my thought is that a democrat working in the election supervisor’s office waited a long time before actually mailing them.

“Allen West is clearly on the ballot in Martin County.”

Of course he’s on the ballot—in the GOP primary, against the sheriff of Martin County. As I explained in my prior post, (i) West isn’t running in a general election, so reducing turnout in a GOP county won’t be effective in trying to defeat him and (ii) if anything, reducing turnout in Martin County will benefit West since (A) the sheriff of Martin County is his opponent in the GOP primary and (B) West has never represented Martin County before (the old FL-22 that West won in 2010 was wholly within Broward and Palm Beach Counties).

Yes, RINOs may try to defeat Allen West. Yes, one weapon that liberals use to cheat is denying qualified voters in conservative areas (or whom they assume are conservative, such as military voters) the right to vote. But in a GOP primary in FL (where only registered Republicans can vote), dampening turnout in conservative counties won’t do much to prop up the RINO who is running against West, much less when turnout is being dampened in the RINOs home county.

Allen West will win his primary by a comfortable margin. The general election will be tougher, but I have faith that he will beat whichever of Patrick Murphy and Jim Horn win the RAT primary.

All political mail, franked, first class, or presort standard are delivered the same day they are received...presort standard (bulk rate), gets the same treatment as First Class Mail.

This SCAB letter carrier thinks management must get a colonoscopy by the IG.

That’s different.

If they are not sending overseas ballots to the military, then report them to fox news and embarrass and humiliate them them about it, then sue.

Nope. The voters being screwed are veterans overseas. The kind of folks most likely to vote for West.
