Ad accuses Obama of defending ‘racism against white folks’
The Daily Caller ^ | August 17, 2012 | Jim Antle

Has Barack Obama, the first black president of the United States, failed to live up to the dream of civil rights icon Martin Luther King? That’s one of several startling claims made in a new ad accusing Obama of “tacitly defending black racism before and since being elected.”

“The Obama administration has injected race into the presidential campaign,” the narrator intones at the beginning. “Obama Attorney General Eric Holder recently said, with no argument from the president, that their white critics are motivated by race.”

The voice in the commercial then turns Holder’s charge on its head: “Implying whites are too stupid to have honest disagreements with the president without being racist is, in and of itself, racist against whites.”

Both the ad and the registered super PAC behind it, FightBigotry.com, are the brainchild of longtime political consultant and opposition researcher Stephen Marks. In his autobiography “Confessions of a Political Hitman,” Marks described himself as “a strange-looking character, half librarian and half James Bond.”

“I think in 2008 a lot of people were willing to give Obama a pass on Jeremiah Wright because he seemed like a nice guy,” Marks told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “I still think the president is a nice person.”

Marks argued that after Obama took office, his administration established a pattern of behaving in a racially polarizing manner, including Vice President Joe Biden’s recent remarks to a black audience that Republicans are going to put “y’all back in chains.”

“No one else has the stomach to bring up these issues,” Marks said. “Or the balls, I guess you could say.”

Marks, who narrates the ad himself, manages to pack all “these issues” into two minutes. He mentions the president’s criticism of Cambridge police after the arrest of black Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates. Marks quotes Obama as describing his own grandmother as a “typical white person” whose “racial slurs made him cringe.”

“But Jeremiah Wright’s far more racist rants never made him cringe?” Marks asks as footage of the infamous “Goddamn America” sermon by the president’s former pastor plays.

“In 2009, the Obama Justice Department dropped charges against the New Black Panthers just as they were about to be convicted of intimidating white voters,” Marks also says in the ad. “And they’re now calling for a race war, again with no objection from the president.”

Former Justice Department official J. Christian Adams, the author of the New York Times bestseller “Injustice: Exposing the Racial Agenda of the Obama Justice Department,” said these are legitimate campaign issues.

“The Obama Presidency has been characterized by an unashamed racialist policy – whether trying to keep Abigail Fisher out of the University of Texas because she is white, or refusing to clean up the voter rolls under Motor Voter because it doesn’t ‘increase minority turnout,’ or dismissing the New Black Panther case because some defendants get breaks,” Adams told The Daily Caller News Foundation in an e-mail. “The administration thought they could do all this quietly, but millions of Americans have noticed.”

Those are the millions Marks plans to turn to get his ad on television. He said that unlike other super PACs, he is reaching out to small donors, like the ones who helped him get his 2000 ad tying Al Gore to Al Sharpton and his 2008 commercial portraying Obama as mocking the Bible on the airwaves. Marks wishes to target “blue-collar Democrats” in swing states like Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Florida and Wisconsin.

Not everyone is a fan of Marks or his ads. The liberal group ThinkProgress condemned the spot as “obvious race-baiting” and “riddled with factual errors,” claiming Marks is merely “using an Orwellian name to inject racism into yet another campaign through smears.”

In 2008, the Obama campaign website Fight the Smears denounced another Marks production: “The video takes 5 sentences out of a 4,500-word speech Barack gave in 2006 completely out of context to stoke division and hatred.”

“This isn’t the biggest issue in the election,” Marks allowed. “But it’s one that should be discussed.”

“Attorney General Eric Holder called us cowards because we don’t talk enough about race,” Adams said in an e-mail. “So lets talk.”

Obama certainly is a racist. The MSM has tried to hide this fact from voters.

Anyone who has ever worked in a job that hired people because of affirmative action and watched as these people got promoted before them because of their race, knew exactly what the Obama Presidency would be.

The appointees and promotions selected by these people once they get power are never because of expertise, but always because of their race or acquaintance. Just like Holder, Van Jones, and many oher Obama appointees.

In Obama’s case non-gender entered into it as Obama appointed Lesbians and Homosexuals such as Two lesbian members of the Supreme Court, Napolitano and a pervert appointed as school safety Czar.

A smart person appoints people who are smarter than he is, and uses them to make himself look good.
Obama appointed idiots, liberals, blacks, homosexuals, tax cheats, and other people that made him look like Chit. If it weren’t for the Media covering for him the whole gang would have been laughed at.

Ronald Reagan knew how to appoint smart people then he stood back and let them do their jobs. Obama appoints idiots
and then tries to micro manage them, making himself look like a fool.

If anyone thinks this post makes me look racist let me say I don’t give a damn. It’s the truth as I see it.

Now we’re getting down to the nitty-gritty.

0bama is the biggest race baiter, next to Jesse and Al of course.

That’s right; it was going to be BJ Clinton, only worse. As long as affirmative action is the law of the land (not only in government jobs, but in school admissions and forced on the private sector at the point of a lawsuit), it stands to reason that anyone who is hurt by these policies much better off if the beneficiaries weren’t around anymore. It is that simple.

It became truly absurd when the beneficiaries started acting like they WERE actually qualified for the schools/jobs; nobody has the heart to tell them that if they needed affirmative action for they are simply inferior. Anyone who points it out is shouted down with the racism/sexism allegations, so the illusion is prolonged.

“Obama certainly is a racist. The MSM has tried to hide this fact from voters.”

The fact that he ignored the white middle class for four years is coming back to bite him in the arse; I don’t think we’ll see any pictures of Obama shooting hoops anymore between now and November. Minority/women business owners shouldn’t take offense at his comment about building a small business; in most of their cases the government gave it to them.

White college kids (and the last four years’ worth of graduates) can now see that they have no role in the future as envisioned by Obama.

“startling claims made in a new ad accusing Obama of “tacitly defending black racism before and since being elected.” “

Nothing startling at all about the claims. Zero is either a racist or a fellow-traveler of racists. Look at the people he surrounds himself with—like Van Jones, Jeremiah Wright, and Eric Holder. You are known by the company you keep.

I remember one supervisor telling me.” We is in charge now”.

He was right, I never saw a job go downhill so fast.

“I still think the president is a nice person.”

Not me. I still think he is a little piece of dog ship. I think he has closed the door for any more "experiments in equality" at least where the presidential office is concerned. It will be good to at least be able to legitimately question what a leader does without being branded as racist. I am tired of tiptoeing around blacks who are out to lynch anyone with an opinion that differs from their own. We never should have let up on him. He has set race relations back about 50 years.

Indeed. And Obama himself is where he is because of others doing everything for him, and lies, fraud and cover-up.

“I remember one supervisor telling me.” We is in charge now”.”

I’m sure a lot of the increase in black unemployment is a result of companies tightening their belts, starting with any employees that lack English grammar skills. It is easy to eliminate dead “affirmative action” wood amidst larger layoffs, and it is easier for companies to eliminate many candidates for the few openings around with simple requirements that were tossed by the wayside when the labor market was tight.

For the first time since I can recall, I actually believe “women and minorities hit worst” does apply to the Obama economy. Nobody has to hire anyone that might file a racial or gender grievance; there are so many more candidates that don’t fit those molds with superior qualifications so the hirings can’t be challenged in court.

Affirmative action has come full circle; in tough times merit is all that matters.

I worked at the Fort Worth office at the beginning of the last census in 2009. Our manager was a younger black lady recently transplanted from Chicago as her husband was with the railroad. She had that “We the sh^t, whitey” attitude. It chafed, but I kept my mouth shut to put bread on the table.

Most Americans (of any color) can now see that Obama is a stumbling token; the teleprompter (especially the damage he did to his image when speaking without it) was a dead giveaway. His recent campaigning has erased any doubts.

When I order supplies at my job, I can’t believe the wholesalers identify which suppliers are minority/women owned businesses. Rather than buy from them (they often have similar or higher prices anyway, for the increased overhead of unqualified tokens), I simply buy from the larger operators where merit matters more than race/gender.

“It chafed, but I kept my mouth shut to put bread on the table.”

Many of us have to do that; the problem for Obama is there is only one place for us to air our grievances without fear of reprisals: the ballot box.

Obama’s election strategy is to pit Blacks against whites and Mexicans against whites and Orientals against whites and poor people against whites and women against whites and Indians against whites and dogs against whites and cats against whites.
