Obama the capitalism-hating, liberty-hating, America-hating, godless Marxist/communist must be completely destroyed politically!! To allow him another term in the presidency would be to allow the total destruction of America.
As much as I detest what the Republican party has become, there is no other party on this earth that can come anywhere close to accomplishing what must be accomplished to keep America from spiraling down a Marxist/communist toilet.
Obama and his Marxist government must not only be defeated, they must be crushed and totally destroyed!! We must pray that God Almighty Himself moves Heaven and Earth to rid our government of this unholy, filthy, communist scum that has infested the democrat party, our government and our society!! And we know that God will not do that. He leaves these earthly tasks to us. It's OUR country and if we wish to keep it, we must move the mountains ourselves and do whatever it takes with whomever we have to get the job done!!
America will NOT go down without a fight!! Free Republic will not standby and do nothing while Obama destroys everything we hold dear!!
Damn Romney and his RINO history! Damn the GOPe for making this fight twice as hard as it should be! ANY Republican with a halfway decent record would crush Obama like the vermin he is. Well by God, if it has to be Romney, that SOB better grow a pair and he'd better get his butt in gear and fight like there's no tomorrow, because there's not!! This is do or die time!! And Rove had better turn out to be at least half as smart as he thinks he is. He engineered it. Now by golly, make it HAPPEN!! And our friends Hannity, Coulter, Rush, Levin, et al, had better start cranking it up another notch. The tea party is ready to rumble. The tea party sweeps of 2010 was just a warm-up for the tea party flood of 2012 that's going to wash America clean of godless communist/unionist scum from sea to shining sea.
We are going to send that paper hanging SOB packing and then we're going to rip out all his Marxist B/S by the roots and fumigate the ground so it can never grow again!!
All Republicans, independents, grassroots conservatives, tea party members, moderates, Reagan democrats, Christians, Jews, life, family, liberty, decency-loving patriots of any stripe must work like the blazes for the next couple of months and then turnout on election day and drag their friends, relatives and co-workers to the polls to vote that communist bastard and as many godless, liberty-hating, capitalism-hating, God-hating, liberal progressive, corrupt Marxist communists bastards the hell OUT as is humanly possible!!
We'll deal with Romney and the RINOS later.
Let the wailing and weeping commence. I've spent the last sleepless night over this miserable situation that I'm going to spend. I love America, Life and Liberty too much to let it fail.

Well look at it this way...his first big act was to select Ryan as his running mate. Romney might be a RINO who was mugged by the reality of the staggering deficits and crumbling morals. It happens. Even with outright Marxists it has happened and some of them have turned into the most passionate anti-socialists.

YES! It was very hard for me to come to this conclusion too, and it is really only because of Romney’s selection of Ryan that I can do it (because now there really is an alternative).
And the most important thing is to utterly destroy Obama and root out every trace of his evil from our midst. He is sinking our country and I don’t think we can make it through another term of him.
Ditto. I have written a couple of letters to Romney so far reminding him of the skeptism true conservatives have and the "great expectations" we hold and will be vocal about based on promises made on THIS campaign.
I hope he's been faking it to win elections in the past or at least has had a soul changing true conservative epiphany since he last ran the state of MA. (Faking it isn't encouraging as we have a political opportunist leading this country from behind now.).
I'll continue to pray that he keeps his promises to rid our nation of Obamacare, etd. I'd like to see him start promising to reverse Obama's latest fiat on Amnesty and build a wall before working on what to do with those illegals already here.

Thanks, Jim. Knowing you’re, shall we say, less than an avid fan of Romney, this is an important move. The most critical task at hand is stopping the marxist cabal in the WH from inflicting any further damage on this country.
Truly, it’s all on the table in November. Does America choose Freedom or Obama? Limited government or Obama? Religious liberty or Obama? The choices are there and they couldn’t be starker.

Jim I’ve been saying this here for months now, and have been flamed by many of our fellow FRs, even by you. I am thrilled that you have come to your decision to fight this final battle - it is the most important of my 57 years, and it is the most important for the USA. We will deal with President Romney as needed, but we must not fail to excise the cancer that afflicts our White House and country now.

I agree with you 100%. Every time I watch or read the communist media distort the news I vicariously BURN THEM TO THE GROUND! We cannot have a one-sided, pro-communist media in this country. They are the problem and have brought all of this about. We need to drive them out of business and begin over again. They certainly do not deserve the protection of the First Amendment! Bring ‘em down!

If we have two options that will produce not very different outcomes,

I have no great love for Romney, but......I am going to vote for Romney/Ryan because I like Paul Ryan and want anybody but...ABO (*Anyone But Obama”). Obama & his evil wife, Michelle are the reincarnation of the Devil himself, as is the entire Democrat Party. Both must be completely defeated and destroyed politically!!!
I urge and beseech you, Mr. Robinson to publicly support Romney/Ryan, and inform all Freepers and like minded folks to the same!!! Our country is at stake, IMHO, if we lose this election, America will be changed for the worse forever, and our children, and those to come will never know Freedom, Liberty, Opportunity and the Pursuit of Happiness as we have. I do approve of Paul Ryan. Romney is actually capable of turning the economy around. I am confident that he will do a good job with jobs too.
Holding my nose, voting for R&R and every Tea Party candidate I am allowed to vote for (with or without ID).
But I will not stop there. This morning I heard a stat which should be the writing on the wall for all of us. 44% of people below the age of 35 see no problem in socialism.
I lay the blame for this at my feet and everyone else who sent their children to public schools. This MUST stop. We cannot expect to win the battle of ideas if we surrender our kid’s brains to 13 years of union teacher communist brainwashing followed by 4+ years of communist college professors.
If we are unwilling to take what ever steps required to keep our children/grandchildren out of these communist indoctrination centers then we are surrendering the country to the communists without firing a single shot.

It's a relief to see the highly-respected founder of Free Republic face the fact that it's either going to be Romney or Obama. All conservatives hate being forced into this vexing situation but as you stated, Romney can be dealt with, especially if we elect a conservative Republican majority in both houses of congress. I'll vote for Romney because the thought of watching my beloved America being systemically destroyed by Obama and the left is too much to bear just because I don't think Romney is conservative enough. I applaud your bold announcement. Thank you.
