I think both you and her have a poor understanding of science in general.
Heightened adrenal response does not shut down the reproductive organs. In some cases sexual responses are identified such as a woman becoming aroused during a rape to protect against damage to the inner lining of the vagina, even orgasm is entirely possible during a forced rape.
One only has to look at history and the many armies that raped and pillaged and left behind a nation of bastard children.
The science is also clear on there not being some magic way of the woman protecting against pregnancy as Akins insisted.

Once again, why old male politicians shouldn’t comment on the female reproductive system, it rarely goes over well.
Ever read about what happened in Berlin in the spring of ‘46? A lot of German women were having Russian babies. Guess they must not have read your study before they were raped.

This issue would go away in a week. If he selfishly stays in this goes national and every GOP candidate will be carpet bombed with Akin’s comments until November.
This "issue" of a few misspoken words has no substance to it and will be going away regardless. Romney selfishly keeping his tax returns private is the albatross around the GOP's neck that will destroy our chances of taking the White House for no good reason whatsoever.

This dope makes Sharon Angle (whom I strongly supported) and Christine O’Donnell (whom I really didn’t care about) look like Margaret Thatcher & Gold Meir by comparison.
Yep.. and she actually contributed to his campaign. The best investment she ever made. Her campaign must've had some great intel about Akin... they called it exactly right. Much as I despise that witch McCaskill, I have to give her props for a brilliant strategic maneuver. I wish Repubs were as on their toes.

A M.Div. is a substantial degree...about a 70+ hour graduate degree. It’s hard to say there isn’t much education in his background. Blame Akin’s nonsense on something else.
Face it. He’s another of those dim-bulb coworkers, uncles, neighbors that we all meet who have weird backwards ideas about sex, race, water witching, choosing the sex of a baby, and i bet he can tell you about this guy who bought a new Corvette,,,,right before he left for Vietnam.
