Yes...I stopped FReeping to watch the speech.
I was truly Impressed with Paul Ryan.
McCain was just on the Friends and when asked if he had to do it again would he have been tougher on Barry replies—no, that wouldn’t have been effective. (screaming here) He says he takes full responsibility of last election but reminds us that the stock market did drop 700 points.

I think he actually said “appropriate” instead of “effective” — which makes me SCREAM LOUDER! I took it to mean he wouldn’t criticize a black guy. He deserves about 75% of the blame for the Obama presidency.
I was cursing out McCain and my hubby got mad at me. He said not matter what he is a war hero. Excuse me!

Ryan’s speech was a “home run”. He took it to Obummer and stuck the knife in several times in a strategic sort of way. Finally got a politician with some guts.
McCain’s speechwriters wrote the majority of Palin’s speech. Ryan wrote his own. What Palin had was masterful delivery, but she was boosting McCain, not attacking Obama save for some passages like the greek column comments. Ryan’s speech was masterful because it took the arcane business of govt finance and broke it down in a way every American could both understand and be appalled.
If you want to glorify suffering, vote for Obama.
If you want to glorify success, vote for Ryan.

At least we can see that the current generation Martinez, Cruz, Haley, Ayotte, West to name a few will not take that misguided approach.
Ryan gave us inspiration, Mitt needs to cross the goal line.

FOX said that there was one speechwriter who worked on both Palin’s and Ryan’s speeches.
