U.S. to Israel: If You Attack, We Don’t Have Your Back
Arutz Sheva ^ | 30/8/12 | Gil Ronen

Posted on 08/30/2012 1:05:23 PM PDT by Eleutheria5

The U.S. military's top officer made statements Thursday which appear to warn Israel that it should not expect U.S. assistance if it chooses to attack Iran's nuclear weapons program.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Martin Dempsey, said such an attack would "clearly delay but probably not destroy Iran's nuclear program," The Guardian reported Thursday. He added: "I don't want to be complicit if they [Israel] choose to do it."

Dempsey said he did not know Iran's nuclear intentions, seeing as intelligence does not reveal intentions. What was clear, he said, was that the "international coalition" applying pressure on Iran "could be undone if [Iran] was attacked prematurely".

Precisely, western man created and supported Israel’s return to the mideast. All the western powers supported it’s completion. Now that we have a muslim president, his policies supercede those of the nation. Rest assured, he will continue to use Americas might against American and western interests. I do not know what it will take for America to wake up to this treasonous ass.... but seemingly , use of the military has already gone unnoticed in his take out of Moamar Khadafi in the formation of his North African caliphate. His use of the CVG’s will be the same. Looks like the American fools want to voluntarily walk into their own gas chambers without der fuhrer lifting a finger.

It does not matter what this general says. If Israel attacks Iran they will retaliate against our forces in the ME. What are we going to do? Turn the other cheek? I don’t think so.

The only question I have is if we don’t do anything will this save us from having to spend money? I have decided that money must be a factor in everything we do from now on because we just hit 16 trillion yesterday. We can’t afford to help every country out there anymore unless they promise to pay for everything we do for them. I would love to stop all foreign aid just until the debt is paid and then we can help people again. If we save in foreign aid, we could really put a big dent in the debt. If we could get it down to 10 trillion in three years (dumping foreign aid), we would be in a much better situation. I know we all have our pet projects, but something has to give. Conservatives are as guilty as everyone else. I remember when they were going to dump the Armed Forces Nascar to save money. The outrage here was amazing. So either we get ourselves serious about the debt or we don’t and we just go into bankruptcy.

Israel won’t attack without allied backup, but Bibi is smart enough to know that his sabre rattling has raised the price of crude at least $20 at a time when Obama desperately needs the price at the pump to fall dramatically.

Bibi is controlling the price of oil until his old business partner gets into office. Then they will deal with Iran and Pakistan.

So the jackhole general who said that retired military should keep their opinions to themselves, releases his opinion on Israel V. iran. "I don't want to be complicit if they [Israel] choose to do it."

"Delaying Iranian nuclear weapons would be a good thing."

The chicken*hit Arab countries probably wishes Israel would go in and get it down.

One nuclear nation, as Iran wants to be, scares the rest of the Islamic world. I bet they are just as worried that Iran will look at them, too.

Would be of benefit if other Arab countries would go all in (I know-like that would ever happen) with Israel to beat the Iranian nuclear goals.

Then ALL of them can breathe a sigh of relief.

Not really thinking this could happen....Muslim Brotherhood would stand with Iran and the region is chock full of the Brotherhood. And, I do, to some extent, hold BO. They are his friends.

"Dempsey said he did not know Iran's nuclear intentions, seeing as intelligence does not reveal intentions."

That's intelligence? If the Romans say so...

Most Americans Support Right of Jews to Live and Build in Judea-Samaria
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/927783/posts
June 10, 2003
"By a margin of nearly five to one, Americans oppose the Bush administration's demand to halt all further Jewish construction in Judea-Samaria (the West Bank) and Gaza . . . The poll, carried out by John McLaughlin & Associates, surveyed a scientific sample of 1,000 American adults on May 21, 2003.

And most of those of the one-in-six are mostly members of families that came from southern Europe only within the last 100 years or so, yet they now have disproportionate control in politics. [Not talking about Jewish people there. Talking about others.]

I think that a rather large IAF strike would overwhelm the CVBG’s BARCAP. An E2C and a couple of sections of SuperHornets that probably aren’t cleared to shoot beforehand? Nah!

The CVBG is there to get between the Gulf States and any Iranian retaliation. Keep the Straits of Hormuz open in case the Iranians try to escalate.

A US CV doesn’t have it’s own fixed wing ASW aircraft any longer. The S-3B Vikings were retired several years ago. Helicopters are about all we have and they could operate from DDG’s. The carrier isn’t there to hunt subs. Not its primary mission, anyway.

The Iranians have been attacking America
for decades INCLUDING in the first attack on the WTC.

Given the past atrocities against Americans,
Mr. Dempsey is obviously either dumb as rock, or
on the side of Iran against America (like Obama and the DNC).

So we don't have to tell the US anything.

I think that's wise, I would not feel slighted at all. Odumbbell would tip your hand to the enemy in a Tennessee second.

Well, that's so Obama. But, I have news for him.

If Israel attacks Iran & the USA stays “neutral”, that will end the reign of Obama. Jewish voters will be outraged, as will supporters of Israel. The US & Obama will look weak & unable to influence events. All of a sudden, Obama will not be the top news item.

And if Israel succeeds in seriously damaging the Iranian nuke program, or better, destroys a significant portion of the Iranian military, the Republican Guards, and/or the leadership, Obama will look like a total fool & Israel will attain far greater respect in the world.

Hillary Clinton, Obama, & the rest of the world leadership had better wake up to a real fact. With 100+ nuclear weapons, Israel is capable of destroying every major city in ANY country of the world. Israel could, given the provocation, destroy EVERY Arab muslim city, including Mecca & Medina, within a day or two. Such an attack would devastate any country, including the US, China, & Russia. It would completely destroy Iranian society.

So, Obama & Co. can play with fire all they want, but they need to get ready to get seriously hurt by events they refused to control. The world will change dramatically & not necessarily in US favor. But then, that's Obama’s plan, isn't it?

Re: “Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Martin Dempsey, said ... he did not know Iran’s nuclear intentions”

He also said that he thought that Iranian mullahs were reasonable people. Dempsey is just a lackey for obama and is an insult to the uniform he wears. OIF vet
